* CowboyBebopAtHisComputer: Ghost from time to time gets his facts wrong on multiple subjects.
** He thinks Franchise/TouhouProject is an "ani-mee" foot fetish.

* ScrewedByTheNetwork: Arguably, in Ghost's opinion, [=BlogTalkRadio=] screwed over his show several times. On January 27th, 2012's episode, they randomly took away his after-show privileges, causing an odd end to the show. On April 17th, 2012's episode, he couldn't start the show until fifteen minutes after the show was originally supposed to start. Ghost didn't take that very kindly. In September 2016, BlogTalkRadio failed to archive some episodes post-show hour, which led to the death of the post-show and Ghost extending the show to a full 3 hours. BTR has also occasionally gone down in the middle of shows, or not allowed Ghost to broadcast at all, the most notable example being during the final Presidential Debate, forcing him to go to Paltalk.
** Ghost was screwed by both Blogtalkradio and Gumroad following Elfoxoloco complaining to both sites about Ghost's behavior, causing ghost.market to go down permanently and one of Ghost's shows to disappear from the archive.

** [=YouTube=] already demonetized Ghost's show from day 1, but they started giving him the business when he got community struck for using homophobic slurs on the air, some of which were from previous episodes that he claimed were splices, and was temporarily suspended. That made him move to a new streaming site called Vaughn.Live, before he got tired of that and moved to DLive.
** Since a lot of users were complaining about Vaughn.Live's terrible bitrate and buffering issues, Ghost went back to Youtube. until he got banned again. He then went to Periscope, only for him to be banned from the platform after a few episodes. This, once again, forced Ghost to move to another streaming platform, this time to DLive.

* SeriesHiatus: Ghost has taken these several times. The first was in late 2010, ending in 2011 when Ghost abandoned the "True Conservative" moniker in favor of "True Capitalist". The second started in May 2012 and ended in March 2016, due to drama in the community and Ghost growing tired with doing the show. The third one went from May 2017 and ended October 2017, with Ghost initially vowing to return in June. This was later pushed back to July 4th, and then once again indefinitely until he can sort out his alcoholism. He eventually returned on October 31st of that year. The last one started on March 27th, 2018 and ended on May 7th, 2018, after some differences between Ghost and Blogtalkradio forced him off the platform and caused a short break to work out an independent broadcasting solution.

* OneOfUs: A truly bizarre example. Ghost, who is basically an old, angry redneck, seems to know just about everything about {{nerd}} culture. This has been cited as evidence of him being a troll.
** In particular, he's surprising adept at recognizing ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'' quotes and songs, and clearly knows things about the show such as how ponies get their cutie marks and the Derpy Hooves fiasco despite claiming that he didn't watch the show and that it's for eight-year-old girls.
** February 28th, 2012: (in response to a caller playing a remix of "Bloody Tears") "Get out of here with your dumbass Mexican music... no, wait a minute, that's ''Franchise/{{Castlevania}}''. Throw the Holy Water, I love that sound!" Ghost later went on to declare the second game in the series his favorite.
** He also likes Nirvana (specifically, the song "Rape Me") and is a big enough Marilyn Manson fan to know the b-side track "The Hands of Small Children" (and use it in his Woodchipper segment) and "We're From America."
** On 7/13/11, when asked what his favourite video game was, Ghost responded with "the first VideoGame/MetalGear off of the original Creator/{{Nintendo}}". Also, on 10/19/11, he said Franchise/SuperMarioBros 1, 2, and 3 ''really'' kicked ass, but quit playing entirely when the Super Nintendo came out.
** In episode 250, he confesses to having fond memories of playing ''VideoGame/StreetFighterII'' and ''SoulEdge'' with his son in arcades in the 90s, even doing [[{{Kiai}} impressions]] of the Hadouken (though he pronounces it "Hayuuken") and Tiger Uppercut.
