*** [[http://www.oafe.net/yo/monev.php Then they made another version, this time in clear plastic.]]]] Actually, the only Monev toy to even halfway look like the character was the Kubrick block figure.

* ShowAccuracyToyAccuracy: Kaiyodo released an action figure of Monev in 2002 that proved popular with toy collectors. Only one problem- [[http://www.oafe.net/shocka/monev.php it only superficially looked like the character.]] The only bit that was accurate were the arm guns. The suit's color, the face mask and various details were altered and the muscle mass was sufficiently enhanced. It was really artistic license at play, since the rest of the toys were on-model.

So why was it so popular regardless? The figure was 10 inches tall and massively articulated, plus it was imported to the US by Diamond, meaning a lot of people who had no familiarity with the series were buying it just because it was far beyond what most action figures of the time were like.

* HeyItsThatVoice: To name a few; Creator/JohnnyYongBosch (in his first anime role!) and Creator/MasayaOnosaka as Vash, Creator/JeffNimoy and Creator/ShowHayami as Wolfwood, [[Creator/DorothyEliasFahn Dorothy Fahn]] and Creator/HiromiTsuru as Meryl, Creator/LiaSargent and Creator/SatsukiYukino as Millie.
** In Creator/{{Funimation}}'s dub of the movie, Meryl is [[TheOtherDarrin Darrin'd]] by Creator/LuciChristian, best known as Nami from ''Franchise/OnePiece'' (though she has ''many'' other roles to her name)
** John Snyder playing a CorruptCorporateExecutive?! Preposterous! [[Manga/OutlawStar Wait...]][[note]] Snyder played Cliff Schezar in Episode 2 of ''Trigun'', and also played Ronald [=MacDougall=] in ''Outlaw Star''.[[/note]]
** Creator/MonaMarshall, who voices Kite from the [[Franchise/{{dothack}} .hack quadrilogy]] (as well as ''WesternAnimation/SouthPark'''s Sheila Broflovski) voices... Kaite, a 2-part character from ''Trigun''.
** Young Knives is voiced by Creator/JoshuaSeth, voice of Tai from ''Anime/DigimonAdventure''. It's very easy to tell, seeing as how he does nothing to differentiate Young Knives from his Tai voice. One could put a voice clip of Young Knives onto Tai and Digimon fans who haven't seen Trigun would be confused.
** Rem is voiced by veteran voice actors on both sides of the Pacific.
*** In English, she's voiced by Creator/BridgetHoffman, voice of Namie from ''Manga/{{Durarara}}''. Now, try to imagine her suddenly as a mother figure to [[Creator/JohnnyYongBosch Izaya]]. For what it's worth, Hoffman also played Belldandy in the ''Manga/AhMyGoddess'' movie (and has dubbed at least three other roles originated by Creator/KikukoInoue).
*** In Japanese, Rem is voiced by Creator/AyaHisakawa, best known as Ami/Mercury from ''Anime/SailorMoon''. For what it's worth, Hisakawa also plays Skuld in the ''Anime/AhMyGoddess'' franchise.
** Can't forget that Legato shares an English VA with ''[[Manga/RurouniKenshin Kenshin]]'' of all people!
** ... Or that [[Creator/AkioOhtsuka Rai]]-[[Creator/KirkThornton Dei]] is [[Anime/MobileSuitGundam0083StardustMemory Anavel Gato]]. On both dubs.

* WordOfGod: Nightow says that Kuroneko-sama is female and that Vash and Wolfwood aren't in a gay relationship, yaoi {{Doujinshi}} notwithstanding. He has also provided Wolfwood with about half a dozen middle names to go with that 'D.'
