* ExecutiveMeddling: Wrestling/VinceMcMahon cancelled "The Blonde Bytch Project", a parody of ''Film/TheBlairWitchProject'' starring Wrestling/StevieRichards and The Blue Meanie that was to bury Wrestling/{{Sable}}, after Sable had left the WWF and filed a $110M dollar lawsuit against it, on the grounds that ''he'' had never seen the movie, and therefore assumed nobody else had either.
* TheOtherDarrin: At TNA's ''Hardcore Justice 2010'', which was built around it being an ECW reunion show (it was renamed from its original name, ''Hard Justice'', for this very reason), there was a Blue World Order reunion in which the role of The Blue Meanie was played by Big Tilly, who has worked on-and-off for TNA for the last half decade, as "The Blue Tilly". While this normally would not be that bad (as the two bear a passing resemblance to each other, and Meanie was a big part of the bWo who are essential to any ECW reunion), the problem was thaty they showed the real Meanie earlier that night in a pre-recorded segment. Al Snow even pointed out that it was a different guy, despite [[Wrestling/MikeBucci Nova]] insisting it was the original. Incidentally, the trope was invoked when Stevie Richards thought it was a little weird to have a fake Meanie -- Nova launched into an explanation involving ''Series/{{Bewitched}}'' and the two Darrins situation that became the {{Trope Namer|s}}.
