** The show could have been translated faithfully As faithful as dubs of anime made for syndication got in the early 90's, anyway if they (allegedly) had never lost the scripts.

* UncreditedRole: The English version only credits a small handful of voices, leaving many of the supporting players uncredited. Due to this, it led to many of those roles either having to be identified by ear, often erroneously, or by several of the actors themselves after the fact.

* PlayingAgainstType: Guido's Japanese voice actor Creator/JurotaKosugi is usually known for his deep, masculine voice. Sukashii is a rare instance of him using a much higher, younger-sounding voice. Though in some episodes, he sometimes slips into his usual deep voice.

We need to see some evidence for this claim. If you wish to restore the statement, please provide a link that proves it to be true, otherwise we have to assume the worst and that it's just wishful thinking from fans.

Only one example per line

* ExecutiveMeddling[=/=]ProtectionFromEditors: Started in the former, ended in the latter. Satoru Akahori mentions in a 1991 interview that in the show's early stages there was a lot of intervention from Bandai, including forcing them to add things in at the last minute. But by the latter half of the show, everyone, including the network, had essentially given the staff free rein of the series. The increasing level of freedom led to the show getting crazier as it progressed, and the ratings climbed accordingly. Formulaic elements at the beginning of the series were lessened as well, such as reliably-episodic appearances of the Rescue Team and the Supreme Catatonic, in favor of more flexible plot turnouts.

Snark and misuse

* FollowTheLeader: Accidental one at that. The approach they used for the new scripts worked so well it went to influence later dubs released for the US market like Creator/Funimation's dub of Manga/CrayonShinChan, Creator/Geneon's dub of Anime/LupinIIIPartII both of which aired on Creator/AdultSwim, and even MXC! Unfortunately, it also gave rise to companies like Creator/FourKidsEntertainment who is infamous for its Macekred anime series, gag based or not. Even then, it also encouraged Creator/Nelvana and its infamous Macekre of Manga/CardcaptorSakura.
