* CreatorBacklash: Max, Dan, Rhino, and Jero were all immensely relieved that they never had to play ''Fortune Street'' again. At the very least, Max stopped finding the game fun (on its own merits) not long in, and he said that besides ''maybe'' Rhino, none of them want to touch it ever again.
** Max frequently regrets making ''Cutie Mark Laboratories'' because every time he tries to focus on something else, fans come out of the woodwork to yell at him to make more. At the same time, though, he does appreciate that people like it, and he does work on it when he can; he just hates that people think "when he can" means "every waking moment".
*** More specifically, he hates almost every first season CML episode he did, especially the second one - see OldShame below.

* ThePeteBest: Zero first appeared to replace Marioman2233 as a guest commentator for ''Battletoads''. Now he's probably one of, if not the, most well known guest on the channel, while very few people even remember Marioman.

* AccidentallyAccurate: Max jokes near the beginning of ''Digital: A Love Story'' that [[spoiler: the people he talks to can't be human, because they're too polite to be a human being on the Internet]]. As it turns out, [[spoiler: most of the people he was referring to are actually [=AIs=] and not real people]].

*** In late 2015, he upgraded to Movie Studio Platinum 13.
* Known reasons for cancelled let's plays (don't add to the list if the reason is "Max lost interest"):
** ''VideoGame/PaperMarioTheThousandYearDoor'' - Max wanted to do more games, and the RPG format was boring him. This eventually led to his current style of doing several different let's plays at once.
** ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaSkywardSword'' - the save file was lost.
*** He started a new let's play of it in late 2015, with Rhino co-commentating rather than having Peter there to switch control with.
** ''[[VideoGame/{{Minecraft}} Minecraft Tekkit]]'' - they recorded so much ahead of time that by the time Max got around to editing some later episodes, their conversations were outdated, as was the version of the game.
** ''VideoGame/Left4Dead2'' - they couldn't get everyone available at the same time.
** ''VideoGame/{{Borderlands}}'' - Sam and [=SwiftEthan=] were no longer interested, and Dan had been all but dropped.
** ''VisualNovel/NineHoursNinePersonsNineDoors'' - it became too big a task for Max to edit together everything the way he wanted to.
** ''[[VideoGame/PokemonMysteryDungeon Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky]]'' - Fraps, for some reason, stopped recording his emulator.
** ''Wheel of Fortune'' - the game kept glitching and desynchronizing when played online.
** ''VideoGame/HyruleWarriors'' - Max couldn't get past [[ThatOneLevel Death Mountain]] and pulled a RageQuit.
** ''VideoGame/QuantumConundrum'' - anything Max tried to record, he decided his commentary was too bland because he was also trying to solve puzzles.
** ''VideoGame/ShovelKnight'' - Dan's audio was very bad quality, and so Max decided it wasn't worth trying to cover it up in editing, nor did he want to release it with bad quality.
*** A proper and full let's play with better quality has been started.
** ''VideoGame/{{Splatoon}}'' - when Max returned to the game, he kept ending up in games with very high-leveled players (apparently almost always having at least one or two people at the maximum level) due to the game not matching players based on level. This made for just a series of {{Curb Stomp Battle}}s with Max on the receiving end, and he decided the game was no longer enjoyable because it was now nearly impossible to have a fair match.
** ''Shape Up'' - it became too difficult to actually record while getting a proper workout (due to the addition of commentating).
** ''VideoGame/GameDevTycoon'' - Max did a second recording session, but found that the game got boring and repetitive.
** Let's Race ''VideoGame/PokemonZetaAndOmicron'' - they lost Rhino's footage for a lot of the race, and didn't want to restart; originally they were going to find a solution, but Max eventually decided to just call it off. However, the person who was in the lead at the time is still considered the winner of the race.

13 Platinum.

** Blue Giraffe, the creators of the ''Heart's Medicine'' series, credited Max (and by extension Rhino) in the credits of ''Heart's Medicine - Hospital Heat'' among other streamers and let's players for doing the first two games in the series.

** "Courier Salt" for Dan's angrier moments. "Dan the Man" for his awesome moments.

* Out of all the guests he's had, only three - Peter, Schuyler, and Spark - are people Max has recorded with in person. And in the case of the last one, they only recorded a vlog.
** Add Blake (from some ''Cards Against Humanity'' and ''Fibbage'' games) and Pony Vegeta (from the original ''Castle Crashers'' let's play from early 2014), and those five are the only ones Max has even met in person (as far as we know).

Added DiffLines:

** Mental Block Gaming, the creators of the Templars of Hyrule map, are following along the Mirror and Sol playthrough of it and enjoying it. They even gave Max a tip on one of the puzzles being potentially broken and how to fix it.

Added DiffLines:

** And then Strife Clouds started being released near the end of February 2016. ''Almost five months'' after the previous board.

* WhatCouldHaveBeen: ''Battletoads'' was going to resume with Marioman2233 still co-commentating, but due to Max losing contact with him for unknown reasons, Zero joined instead.
** When playing ''The Walls'', they were apparently planning to have a free-for-all at one point, but ran out of time.
** Before creating ''Challenge Foolishly Accepted'', Max had planned a short series titled "[[TheInsomniac Wiisomnia]]", where he would play three ''Wii Play'' games every day for three days, not sleeping during the nights in between, to see how his playstyle changed. When he lost the recording of the first day, he just scrapped the idea. He later came back and played all nine games for ''Challenge Foolishly Accepted'', but with only one night of no sleep.

Added DiffLines:

** In ''Fallout 3'', Max was going to give a more realistic portrayal of drug addiction by becoming more and more casual and frequent with his use of Buffout; he first seemed reluctant to use it, but as time went on he'd become more and more reliant on it, until the in-game addiction status kicked in. This ended up not working out because he got addicted to it after using it maybe ''three times''. Considering it has only a 10% chance of becoming addictive, it's pretty surprising it happened that fast[[labelnote:*]]There is an accumulative additional chance of addiction, but after only three uses over a rather spaced-out time, it shouldn't have increased by more than 1%[[/labelnote]].

Added DiffLines:

** Max and Rhino were going to have a race in the original ''VideoGame/{{Portal}}'', not ''Portal 2''. However, Max had framerate lag (which, for some reason, didn't occur on the more intensive ''Portal 2'' or ''Aperture Tag''), and eventually they called the race off because he was at a clear unfair disadvantage.

** ''[[VideoGame/{{Fallout3}} Fallout 3]]'' and ''VideoGame/HuniePop'' fell into this as well. For the former, it was due to an EpicFail on Max's part believing he somehow lost the save data when it was just on another account all along; for the latter, it's due to an as-of-yet unspecified change in editing. The former has been resolved and episodes have resumed; the latter has not yet reached that point and Max has broken many claims of it coming out "this weekend" or "pretty soon".

* OneOfUs: Max, Schuyler, Zero, Enigma, and Dan seem to be tropers. Dan, Enigma, and to some extent Max himself often reference tropes by name. This also applies in regards to other things:
** Literally everyone who's appeared on the channel so far (possibly excluding [=Marioman2233=] and a few one-offs) is a [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic brony]].
** Max, Dan, Jero, Rhino, and Spark often make references to Creator/RoosterTeeth, WebVideo/GameGrumps, and LetsPlay/TheRunawayGuys, though the latter is usually only referenced by Dan and occasionally Max.
*** Max and Dan can be expected to sing Music/{{Starbomb}} songs when in a video together.
** Jero, Rhino, Tim, and Wren (and implicitly Spark) are fans of ''WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse''. Max also watched the show, [[SubvertedTrope but didn't like it]], though he still tosses around some references occasionally.
*** Given how Max occasionally bemoans how everyone he knows loves the show while he doesn't, it's likely that others on the channel watch it too and just don't talk about it in videos.
** Old shows such as ''WesternAnimation/KimPossible'' and ''WesternAnimation/DannyPhantom'' are occasionally the topics of nostalgic conversation between people, including but not limited to Max, Rhino, Dan, and Jero.
** Jero is a big fan of ''Series/GameOfThrones''. He's apparently been trying to get the others into it, unsuccessfully.
** Dan occasionally will start talking about various cartoons or anime, such as ''WesternAnimation/StarVSTheForcesOfEvil''. Bonus points if nobody else has any clue what he's talking about.
** Max loves ''LetsPlay/TwitchPlaysPokemon'' and has participated in most, if not all, of their runs since the beginning. [[{{Troll}} He also claims he was one of the people who would type "down" to send Red off a ledge.]]
** Tim is not only a ''VideoGame/LeagueOfLegends'' fan, he's also a writer for various League articles on [[http://www.gosugamers.net/ GosuGamers]].
This list shows the last 10 events of 46. Show all.
