* RomanceOnTheSet: Motoko Nagino’s work as a suit actress and stunt double for the ''Power Rangers'' franchise began with this season, with her marrying executive producer Creator/KoichiSakamoto the same year. She would eventually become the face actress and suit actress for the A-Squad Pink Ranger in ''Series/PowerRangersSPD''.

* YouLookFamiliar: The first martial artist seen on-screen in "A Father's Footsteps" is portrayed by the same man who played Kai-Ogi in the ''[[Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers]]'' episode "Along Came A Spider".

** The episode “A Father’s Footsteps”, focusing on how Alyssa went against her father’s expectations of being a martial artist to become a college student, mirrors Jessica Rey going against her mother’s wish for her to get a business degree to become an actress on Power Rangers. Though this is likely coincidental, as the episode’s plot was adapted from ''Gaoranger''.

** In Jindrax's case, his human form seen in the first episode was performed by his suit actor, Danny Wayne Stallcup whereas Creator/RichardCansino provided the character's voice in his true Org form. After four episodes, however, it was decided that Richard's voice was too menacing for the character going forward, so he was let go. While on set, Danny would make impressions of Jindrax's voice which most of the crew found hilarious, so when they needed a new voice, they allowed him to dub the character as well as play him in person.

* ChannelHop: The first 26 episodes aired on Creator/FoxKids, with the remaining 14 airing on ABC Kids because of Creator/{{Disney}} acquiring the rights to the ''Franchise/PowerRangers'' franchise at the time. This enabled the producers to get away with a lot of the season's FamilyUnfriendlyViolence. They told the Fox Kids that Cole's parents would have later turned out to be alive. They then "neglected" to tell Disney that the death had ever happened, so they didn't have to keep the promise, leading to a season resolution where the gravesites of Cole's parents were shown and they were confirmed to be dead.

** The Machine Empire generals in "[[Recap/PowerRangersWildForceForeverRed Forever Red]]" were re-purposed and slightly modified ''Series/{{Beetleborgs}}'' suits. While Venjix, Gerrok, and Tezzla use the straight Shadowborg, Green Hunter Borg, and Ladyborg suits as they are respectively, Steelon is a slightly modified Dragonborg suit (missing the dragonfly crest on the helmet), while Automon is a combination of Fireborg and Lightningborg suits.

** Creator/SummerGlau auditioned for the role of Alyssa, but didn't get it (and instead did [[Series/{{Firefly}} another Fox sci-fi show]]). Sandra [=McCoy=] was then cast, but was replaced by Jessica Rey for unknown reasons (Sandra instead played Kendall, Danny's love interest in a couple of episodes).
** There are officially 100 Power Animals, but we only ever see 22. Toei actually designed and detailed about a dozen more exclusively for ''Wild Force'', including a peacock with many weapons as its tail feathers and a wallaby with a baby in its pouch. These can be found in the artbook ''Super Sentai Robot Art Collection''.
** "[[Recap/PowerRangersWildForceForeverRed Forever Red]]" was originally going to be two parts, though it was forced to become only one part thanks to the fact that another crossover, "Reinforcements From the Future", happened recently, not to mention that it was two parts long. Many things were cut out of "Forever Red", most notably the original fight with Serpentera.
*** Rocky (the second Red Ranger in ''Mighty Morphin'') was originally scripted to appear in the episode. Unfortunately, Steve Cardenas was in the middle of moving and changing addresses after the producers first contacted him and he forgot to tell them. They couldn't recontact him so they had to do the episode without him. If he did make it, he either would've taken Jason's spot if Austin St. John wasn't available, or become Tommy's butler if he was.
*** Reportedly, the final fight was not going to be against Serpentera, but rather, ''[[Series/PowerRangersInSpace Dark Specter]]'', who would've been revived and fought all the Red Rangers. Becomes HilariousInHindsight when Toei ends up doing the same thing with [[Series/HimitsuSentaiGoranger Black Cross Führer]] in the crossover between ''Series/TensouSentaiGoseiger'' and ''Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger''.
** Much of the ShipTease in this season was supposed to have an actual payoff, with Danny going back to the flower shop with Kendall and Cole and Alyssa being married in a DistantFinale.
** The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQvGoGxCKq8 teaser]] for this season shown after "[[Series/PowerRangersTimeForce The End of Time, Pt. 3]]" showcased an opening theme completely different from the final, presumably not used due to rights issues from the ''Power Rangers'' franchise's sale to Disney.
** "Reinforcements From the Future" was supposed to use the Three Org Brothers suits from the ''Gaoranger'' movie for the Mutorgs, but these costumes were destroyed in a fire before they could be used.
** Rumors suggest that if the transition to Disney hadn't been made and Cole's parents didn't need to be dead, it would have been revealed that Jindrax and Toxica were Cole's parents transformed into Orgs.
** Princess Shayla's song was originally meant to be in Gaelic to fit with Animarium's decidedly Celtic-inspired aesthetic.
** As mentioned, the show was originally supposed to end here, hence the finale being called "The End of the Power Rangers". Disney was content to simply let reruns air on its cable channels. However, they were convinced to move production of the show to Auckland, New Zealand to cut costs and keep it going.
