* BoxOfficeBomb: The film proceeded to tank big-time on its opening weekend, and is now officially one of the biggest box office bombs ''ever''. It scored the 12th worst opening for any film opening in 3,000+ theaters ($6 million) and suffered a net loss of over $110 million due to its $150 million budget and grossing only $39 million ''worldwide'' even with 3D grosses. Disney [[CreatorKiller shut down Image Movers shortly before it was released]].

* DawsonCasting: Played straight and averted at the same time for the same character. Creator/SethGreen, who does the motion capture for Milo, was supposed to voice the character as well. However, it seems his attempt at voicing a little kid didn't sound too good, because Milo is now voiced by Seth Dusky, who is much closer to the proper age.
