** With all the references to shrinking and nanotech in ''Series/{{Arrow}}'' and ''Series/TheFlash2014'', it was only a matter of time until Ray Palmer's ATOM suit finally gets shrinking powers.
** Many people called it that Chronos was indeed Future!Heatwave
** The Time Masters being Savage's cronies shocked absolutely nobody.
** Many had guessed the Leonard Snart that would join the Legion of Doom is a younger version back from his villainous days.
** Although it was mostly a joke, many were right on the mark when they said Beebo would be significant in the fight against Mallus. In "The Good, The Bad, and the Cuddly", the Totems of Zambezi are used to create a gigantic Beebo who [[KillTheGod kills Mallus]]. Beebo went from being a MemeticBadass to a literal badass.

* ScrewedByTheNetwork: Or, more accurately, the network's new owners. Following the merger of Warner Bros. and Discovery, two Arrowverse shows were stated to not be making the cut. Despite being one of the most popular of the bunch, Legends found itself cancelled out of the blue along with ''Series/{{Batwoman}}''. Apparently, some bean-counter decided it was costing WB too much to store the ''Legends'' sets. (This turned out to be an early warning sign of the rather-unpopular [[TyrantTakestheHelm reign of David Zaslav as WB's owner]], which has seen several other projects been cancelled or scrapped for financial reasons.)

** Likewise, the creators wanted Creator/MegalynEchikunwoke to reprise her role as Comicbook/{{Vixen}} from ''Arrow'' and her [[WesternAnimation/{{Vixen}} animated series]], but this was scrapped because of scheduling issues. The new Vixen in Season 2 was created as a replacement.

** Wet Hot American Bummer's script was changed to remove Nate from the episode in order to give Creator/NickZano time off after his daughter was born and required surgery at a day old.

** Hank Heywood was initially going to be the BigBad of Season 4, revealed to be a MadScientist putting all the creatures the Legends brought back through horrific experiments, complete with Nate making a FaceHeelTurn. Then everyone found Tom Wilson so inherently likable that they decided this could never be believable (a bit odd, seeing as [[Film/BackToTheFuture his most famous role]] is a villain), so the story was tweaked to make him Neron's patsy.

Despite being one of the most popular of the bunch, Legends found itself cancelled out of the blue along with ''Series/{{Batwoman}}''. * Per Caity Lotz, had ''Legends'' gotten an eighth season, the Legends would've been forced to work off their prison sentence training rookie time travelers in how ''not'' to time travel.

** Some fans endearingly refer to the Legends as "the worst time travelers ever" for their consistent ability to screw up time travel in ways no one else could even imagine.
** After Rip referred to the Legends as a chainsaw to the Time Bureau's scalpel ("sometimes you need a chainsaw"), fans started affectionately referring to the Legends as "Team Chainsaw."
** Sara and Ava are sometimes called "time wives."

** The alien spaceship is mostly recycled from ''Series/StargateAtlantis''. The cryo chamber pods are the most blatant giveaway.
