* NoExportForYou: Only the first series got dubbed in English. Max Heart might not see the light of day.
* ScrewedByTheNetwork: YTV, despite paying for the dub, has put it in really bad time slots and only aired the first 12 episodes for the first few months. They also used little advertising. At least it managed to complete the first season, though still no word on whether they will acquire ''Max Heart''. This is one of the reasosn the series has never been able to get off the ground in the American continent when it comes to TV broadcasts.

Added DiffLines:

* StarDerailingRole: In Mexico, due of the quality of the dub in the series, combined with the already mentioned ExecutiveMeddling, it almost derailed the career of Nagisa's Mexican voice actress Romina Marroquín Payró, at least until her career bounces back big time with her performance in ''Disney/{{Frozen}}'' as Anna, and in ''Disney/{{Zootopia}}'' as Judy Hopps.

* SleeperHit: Started off this way in japan, [[CashCowFranchise Believe it or not]]. Originally dismissed as a run of the mill MagicalGirl series, Word of Mouth about the high octane action found in the series spread, increasing the ratings to the point where the original 26 episode season was extended to 49 episodes, and then got a second season. The rest is history.
