* TroubledProduction: Originally set for a 2003 release until being delayed to 2005, it became even further delayed when the hard drives containing all the animation files were stolen and the studio had to start all over again on an even lower budget. The final result was finished in 2009, given a small theatrical release and started to emerge direct to video in other markets in 2012.

The final result was released in 2009, and even that was just because the patience of the bank that held the loans for the product had finally been worn out, leading them to invoke a clause in their contract with Threshold that legally obligated the studio to take whatever they had, cobble it together to something that could pass for a finished in 2009, product as quickly and cheaply as possible, and then release it. What was eventually released was given a small theatrical release release, again to and started to emerge direct to video in other markets in 2012.

** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81uIhu8qrrs The original trailer]] shows more exaggerated, cartoony movements and gags than the final product. For example when Rex drinks a cup of milk the original animation looked ''WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes''-esque, instead of the awkward jerking of the final product.

* HarpoDoesSomethingFunny: A lot of Vlad's dialogue is clearly improvization recorded seperately from the other actors, as other characters don't verbally respond to it.

to:

**On that note, [[https://www.reddit.com/r/Foodfight/comments/3e7frp/every_threshold_animation_studios_horror_story_i/ there exists this Reddit page]] which contains a collection of various testimonies from people who worked on the film, each chronicling their experiences while they were on the project at Threshold. One entry, in particular, mentions the following regarding the “stolen” hard drives:
-->"The "hard drives" was the server room. Which is kept behind a giant, locked door that very few people have access to, and logs are kept whenever the door is opened and by whom opened it. They were never stolen, they were deleted intentionally."
