* ScrewedByTheNetwork: The show was cancelled after three seasons, leaving the viewers on something of a small cliff-hanger. ** Numerous character designs that never made it onto the show are available for viewing on character designer Matt Ficner's personal website and Facebook page. These include an early design for Kilobyte named "Scrambler", [[AnimalMecha Buzzbeast]], [[StreetPunk Candy]] [[TheArcher Floss]], [[ViolentGlaswegian Gas]] [[{{Balloonacy}} Master]], and unused hero [[CatFolk Tesla]].

* NamesTheSame: As a villain from fellow British adventure show ''Series/{{Knightmare}}'', though this one's not as threatening.

* FanNickname: Lady Illusion has acquired the fan nicknames (or rather, fan first names) of Elspeth and Li (made out of her initials). Another fan theory hangs about that Sparx is [[RebelliousPrincess secretly a princess]] who's "real" name is ''Amandine''. Fans presumably chose this name specifically because they know it would [[EmbarrassingMiddleName embarrass the hell out of her were it true]]).

* WhatCouldHaveBeen: The series originally had the characters coming from a comic book rather than a video game. Perhaps someone noticed the similarity this would've created to ''Series/BigBadBeetleborgs''?

!!Buzzbeast
A dinosaur-like creature with circular saws ''imbedded'' in its head and tail, hence its name. It was scrapped in Season 1, likely due to its rather scare potential.
* NinjaPirateZombieRobot: It's a dinosaur cyborg with circular saws in his head and tail!

!!Candy Floss
Candy Floss was actually to appear in Season 3 had it not been cancelled, likely to replace Lady Illusion as Lord Fear's female minion. Concept art shows her in as a punk rock/punk goth/goth rock archer firing lollipop-shaped arrows. [[WordOfGod Rick Siggelkow provided more details on her after the show ended.]]
* TheArcher
* GothRock: She is dressed in a goth rock/punk rock/punk goth appearance. She has a mohawk of sorts, wears a helmet, a bra under a jacket, shorts, striped tights and platform boots.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: Candy uses lollipop-shaped arrows...which explode! She can also ensnare enemies by tying them up in candy floss.

!!Carnival Grunts
A quintet of unnamed minions which disguised themselves as stuffed animals to hide in the carnival and spy on the Lightning Knights. They were scrapped, and their stuffed animal aspect went to Dirty Rat. Poor fella.
