* PopCultureUrbanLegends: For the longest time there were rumors of a movie adaptation of the series that was scrapped for being "too dark" for the target demographic. There exists no evidence of a project like this ever being in development (or considered for that mater), with the info on the "movie" coming from the now defunct site [=TV=] Tome (a site notorious for it's false information on [=TV=] shows).

* WhatCouldHaveBeen: There was originally going to be a film adaptation of the show by Klasky-Csupo, Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount Pictures after the success of the first ''WesternAnimation/{{Rugrats}}'' film.
