[[redirect:TooDumbToLive/ProfessionalWrestling]]* Wrestling/BobbyHeenan, on many occasions, completely forgot that he was "The Brain" and foolishly would try to attack Wrestling/HulkHogan, Wrestling/UltimateWarrior and ... most foolishly Wrestling/AndreTheGiant. Every time, Heenan should have known he would be in for a severe beating, but yet ... .
* On the May 25, 1998 episode of ''Wrestling/WCWMondayNitro'', [[http://www.wrestling-titles.com/wcw/wcw-us-h.html WCW United States Heavyweight Champion]] Wrestling/{{Goldberg}} defended the title against {{Jobber}} Johnny Attitude, who came out for the match with a bald head and even imitated Goldberg's mannerisms. The match itself lasted 1:09. If you've never heard of Johnny Attitude, there's a reason. In fact, you can actually see the look on the referee's face that Johnny's gonna get a whupping.
* At Wrestling/{{ECW}}'s December 5, 1998 show (aired on December 9), held at the Burt Flickinger Center in Buffalo, NY, Wrestling/LanceStorm (w[=/=]"Tammy Lynn Bytch" Wrestling/DawnMarie) was scheduled to face Wrestling/MikeyWhipwreck. Storm walked to the ring carrying a cassette box for ''[[Wrestling/MontrealScrewjob Hitman Hart: Wrestling With Shadows]]'', saying that he wasn't going to let Wrestling/PaulHeyman "screw" him like that, and left. Mikey got on the mic and issued a challenge to wrestle anyone. Rod Price walked out and accepted. Mikey chickened out, saying that he wanted to ''[[InsistentTerminology wrestle,]]'' but that Price doesn't wrestle, he ''fights,'' and left. Price got on the mic and issued a challenge to anyone who "wants a damn fight!" Cue [[AwesomeMusic/ProfessionalWrestling "Natural Born Killaz,"]] '''''AND HERE COMES [[Wrestling/NewJack NEW JACK!]]'''''. Jack proceeded to {{Squash|Match}} Price in his usual style in about two minutes, finishing with the guitar shot off the top. Wrestling/JoeyStyles even ''[[LampshadeHanging said]]'', "In ECW, you do not throw out open challenges."
* On the September 16, 2000 ''ECW Hardcore TV'', the Musketeer threw out an open challenge to anyone...and [[Wrestling/CarleneMoore "The Female Fighting Phenom" Jazz]] ran in and kicked his ass in 49 seconds. After the match, Joey Styles mocked him by saying, "Good night, [[Literature/TheThreeMusketeers d'Artagnan!"]]
* On a more mundane note, those {{Jobber}}s who try to slam or shoulderblock Wrestling/{{Kamala}}, [[Wrestling/JohnTenta Earthquake]], Wrestling/{{Vader}}, etc.
* In a real life case: [[http://www.wrestling-titles.com/wwe/wwe-h.html WWE Champion]] Wrestling/BrockLesnar was scheduled to face [[Wrestling/BobHolly Hardcore Holly]] on the September 12 (taped September 10), 2002 episode of ''[[Wrestling/WWESmackDown WWE SmackDown!]]''. Lesnar was still new to WWE back then, and Holly, who hated having to work with rookies, regularly stiffing them (punching/kicking them full force, resulting in bruises and occasionally concussions) and sandbagging moves (not distributing weight evenly, making it very difficult if not outright impossible for the one to the lift the other), was furious about having to put Lesnar over. So, aside from stiffing Lesnar, he at one point he apparently decided it would be a good idea to sandbag a Lesnar Powerbomb. Brock, being legitimately one of the strongest wrestlers in the company, lifted him anyway, and accidentally dropped Holly on his neck, breaking it and shelving Holly for 13 months. On the bright side, Holly learned his lesson regarding sandbagging, and no one was stupid enough to try such a thing with Lesnar again. That said, Holly also denies that he was deliberately sandbagging Lesnar in his book. When asked point-blank about the incident in an interview with Wrestlecrap.com, he responded, "No...[if] Brock can belly to belly suplex Big Show over his head, do you really think I can sandbag Brock Lesnar…highly unlikely and impossible! Just a move that went wrong as moves do go wrong at times in pro wrestling."
* RealLife case: Teddy Hart, an infamous SpotMonkey notorious for refusing to follow the script and doing insane high-flying moves just to show off. Doing these moves forces the other wrestlers to catch him unprepared, nearly getting everyone injured or killed. This blatant disregard for everyone's safety plus [[SmallNameBigEgo Teddy's primadonna attitude]], have led him to be fired and blacklisted from several promotions, including WWE, Wrestling/{{TNA}}, and [[Wrestling/RingOfHonor ROH]] (where the stunt took place) -- which is a pity, because he does have a lot of talent, but until he grows a brain he isn't going anywhere.
* Wrestling/BoDallas. A delusional motivational speaker who interrupts other wrestlers and tells them to "Bo-lieve!" -- okay, fine, it's WWE. When he starts to doing it to former World Champions and others on a similar level, you think he's either ballsy or a little lacking in self-preservation. When you do it to '''''Wrestling/BrockLesnar'''''? As JBL says, he's "the dumbest man on the planet".

* The first episode of the 2011 revival of ''WWEToughEnough'' has a girl named Ariane. In the first assignment, cleaning around the arena and setting up the ring for the Royal Rumble, she makes comments in "interview aside", as this troper calls it, about looking like a janitor and not looking "Divalicious". In the house, when one of the male contestants makes a sexist comment which seems like it makes sense in context of recent years with the WWE Divas, she and the latest [[BeautyContest Miss USA]], Rima Fakih, both rag on this guy viciously. However, in the training exercise where the contestants are asked to run the ropes for three straight minutes, both she and Rima are among those who spectacularly fail to impress the judges. Said judges being StoneColdSteveAustin, TrishStratus, BookerT, and [[TrainingFromHell Bill DeMott]]. While Rima used padding under her shorts because she was already sore from the previous day's work, Ariane had the audacity to go ''pulling her pants up every trip over across the ropes. Right in front of the aforementioned, highly credible judges.''
** The absolute icing on the cake is when Ariane ends up on the chopping block, along with [[TheGiant large black guy]] Eric and [[MilesGloriosus supposed eleven-year pro]] Michelle. Austin asks Ariane what this opportunity means to her. She comes with crocodile tears and a sob story about how she gave up everything to be here. Eric, not impressed, rolls his eyes. Austin says she has powderpuff written all over her, then questions her on adjusting her pants all the time running up and down the ropes, before recalling how he shat his pants in the middle of a match with Yokozuna in South Africa [[{{Badass}} and kept working]]. When asked what she thinks of Michelle, she insists she did better because she doesn't have any experience. Michelle calls her out on not having passion, so she starts ragging on how Michelle gave it up for [[Series/AmericasNextTopModel modeling]] six years ago, which Michelle has already admitted several times over. Austin, seeing the angle here, questions what Ariane is passionate about. She describes wrestling as her "new passion". Then tells him that her favorite match, out of all the matches in the history of this business, was between ''[[DethroningMoment/ProfessionalWrestling Melina and Alicia Fox]]''. Naturally, she's the one Austin sent packing, which means Rima still has a decent shot at becoming TheScrappy of the show.
