** The announcement that a reboot of WesternAnimation/ThePowerpuffGirls slated for 2016 would NOT feature the original Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup. Though they have voiced their support for the new talent, they are regrettably disappointed because Cartoon Network supposedly never called them.

** WesternAnimation/ScoobyDooMysteryIncorporated got this from a number of fans. Others accepted the series quite well. It's the quintessential BaseBreaker.

* WesternAnimation/AmericanDragonJakeLong got this reaction after the producers of the series revamped the series' animation with the debut of season 2, which also saw the radical redesign of several characters' appearances, namely Jake's dragon form, and for a style that was not as smooth nor as polished as that of the first season, which made the transition from one season to the next very divisive and at least for a time, resulted in a Broken Base for its fans. As well as being ScrewedByTheNetwork, this is often seen as one of the contributors to the show's downfall FranchiseKiller.

* Though WesternAnimation/TheSpectacularSpiderMan was very well received by comic book fans and others, there are some of the more militant fans of the previous series who do not like the show for things such as the style, Shocker not being Herman Schultz, but Montana of the Enforcers, and probably some of other reasons as well.

** WesternAnimation/TheAmazingWorldOfGumball: The ArtShift in season 2, the new voice actors for Gumball and Darwin in season 3, and the [[spoiler:revelation of Penny being a shapeshifting fairy]] are all more or less broken bases among fans.

* Some fans of WesternAnimation/TheAmazingWorldOfGumball weren't really too happy with the new voice actors for Gumball and Darwin in season 3. Justified, though, as their previous voice actors were hitting puberty at the time.
** Some have also complained about the show's change in art style at the start of season 2.
** Many were also angered that the character Rachel Wilson was written out of the show, after only one major appearance and a few cameos in season 1.
** The revelation of was more or less a BrokenBase among fans.
