Prepared and attentive players can get a begrudging [[ShutUpHannibal Shut up, Hannibal!]] [[spoiler: if they happen to have brought a weapon that can hit a helicopter.]]

** The second chapter begins with Ludveck, a Crimean nobleman, stirring up trouble and trying to start a revolt against Elincia, who is now queen of Crimea. Brom and Nephenee, who fought for Elincia in the previous game, encounter one of Ludveck's suborinates rabble-rousing in a village, and after killing him, incapacitate two youths. Brom, who doesn't want Luveck to shatter the peace Elincia fought so hard for, lets the youths know what he thinks about them.

** When Atreus' newfound arrogance causes him to attack [[BigBad Baldur]], resulting in the portal to Jotunheim(Kratos and Atreus' final destination) being destroyed and Atreus and Kratos being stranded in Helheim, Kratos, who'd scolded Atreus several times already, really lets him have it.

** ''Videogame/MetalGearRisingRevengeance'': Raiden gives a [[PunctuatedPounding punch-punctuated]] speech to [[spoiler:Senator Armstrong]], calling him the kind of politician who doesn't actually give a crap about his people, other than the money and the votes, and that if America's gone to shit, as he says, "you're just another maggot crawling in the pile". The receiver, however, is actually ''thrilled'' to get this one, as [[spoiler:his public persona (and his act right before that moment) is just a facade, he also despises that exact sort of politician, and Raiden might just come to agree with what he ''really'' thinks]].

He goes on to state that he holds wizards, books, trickery and everything Plague Knight stands for in complete contempt, calling him a Weakling. What makes this exchange even darker is that this is the most emotion and volition Polar Knight has expressed in the series thus far. The first time he uses moving text in the whole series is when he yells at Plague Knight, calling him a weakling a second time just to get the message clear. Plague Knight was not effected by it though.
