* In the episode "King's Crown", from the anthology Show ''Metal Hurlant Chronicles'', which is adapted from a story from Heavy Metal Comics: in a certain land run by robots with a human king sitting the throne, [[AsskickingLeadsToLeadership a tournament is held every so often and organized by the robots to choose the strongest man to be the new king]]. Entrants must be vital and free of diseases. Every winner becomes a cruel tyrant, and the current king is no different: he is shown as a very obese, lustful man who spends his days gorging on food and having sex with young slave girls. The hero of the story wants to become ruler and end the reign of evil. He wins and is carried by robots to the castle. The moment he sits the throne he's bound, his skull is cut open by robot surgeons, his brain is crudely removed over his screaming protests, effectively killing him, and the brain of the previous king is transplanted from his freshly-dead, used up, obese corpse into the young, muscular body of the hero. The previous king wakes up in the new strong body and is immediately satisfied with it. As a a few slaves girls are brought to him it is obvious he is going to spend his reign in his new body the same way he did in the past: ignoring the suffering of his people while spending his days getting fat and having sex with young women until his body is spent and the robots search for a new candidate to be his vessel. He hopes that his current new body will have “more mileage” since its young and strong and extremely muscular.

* ''Series/{{Ahsoka}}'' ends with a basically complete victory for BigBad Grand Admiral Thrawn, who successfully escapes back to the galaxy and leaves most of the main characters marooned on Peridea. The only blemish on his victory is that Ezra Bridger successfully stows away on his Star Destroyer and is able to return with him, enabling him to warn the New Republic of his grand comeback.
