* When you give it some thought... Batman knows about the powers of the Lazarus Pit, how it can heal your wounds, make you younger, and even resurrect you from fatal injuries. Batman also knows about Victor Fries and Nora, who has been cryogenically frozen by the former in order to stay alive until Fries can find a cure for her terminal illness. Batman's steadfast devotion to justice often has him screwing over people like his friends[[spoiler: (re: 'Arkham Knight' where he refuses to tell Robin about Oracle's fate as he needs him to focus on his work)]], so when you give it some thought, you realise Batman knows about the life-saving properties of the Lazarus Pits, but is deliberately refusing to tell Victor about them, as he knows that, while it would save Nora's life, it would probably be too much for Victor or Nora to resist using for their own gain, as it was for Ra's, and Joker, and anyone else who knew about the power of the Lazarus Pits. To sum up: Batman is going to let Victor Fries live in total misery, his wife frozen possibly permanently, all because of his demented fixation on obeying the law.

* Catwoman's flirting with Batman comes off as sad. She clearly cares for him, pines for him, but feels like he doesn't reciprocate, and believes he must be spoken for. It's sad because he's involved with Talia this game, but Selina's bio mentions that she and Batman have romantic history, and he still flirts with her somewhat, leaving that little strand of hope dangling for her. It comes across as even sadder when you're listening to her interview tapes with Hugo Strange.

* This bit of EnemyChatter can definitely qualify, especially for those with Seasonal Affective Disorder.:

* [[spoiler: Harley's pregnant.]] While this first seems like good news for her, there's a lot that makes it very likely more of a TearJerker. [[spoiler: Considering the baby was conceived while Joker was sick, if the Titan has the ability to be based on to offspring, the baby could easily be deformed in some way; it's more than likely that the baby will be taken away from Harley after it's born; and, worst of all, who's to say she'll even give birth to it? The pregnancy test was no doubt taken sometime before the start of the game, and she couldn't be too far along. A lot of the things that we can assume happen to her could have resulted in miscarriage. Plus the possible Titan-based damage present in the baby itself could cause the baby to die before it's born.]] And the whole premise in general is pretty sad: [[spoiler: Harley is in an abusive relationship with the Joker. Instead of the baby "bringing them together", which is sometimes the sad logic of some abuse victims, the baby might well wind up as another victim of one or ''both'' of them.]]

** Knowing that this would be the last time Hamill would voice the Joker ([[spoiler:until ''VideoGame/BatmanArkhamKnight'', that is]]), "Only You (And You Alone)" feels as much like Hamill singing his farewell to his fans as it does Joker singing to Batman. It's a beautiful send off for this era of the Joker.
