* "Family Reunion", Jack's story about Angela Fairfield, , after Zoe digs into it. [[spoiler: He was seventeen, it was her sixteenth birthday, and she wanted Jack to teach her how to drive. She was doing great, they were celebrating, swerved to get around another car, and something bad happened. When the police arrived, she was dead in Jack's arms, they assumed he had been driving, and he was charged with reckless endangerment. ** Poor Pierre Fargo's situation in general. He was forced into stasis before he had the chance to marry the woman he loved. Not only that, but since he had been in stasis before the Fargo family's reputation of being clumsy fools took hold. He has no idea why people like Jerkass Stark and even Jack is so rude and dismissive of him and his grandson, Douglas.

** While the death of in that same episode is easy to overlook in the light of that, he is presented as a fairly decent guy, trying to do the write thing and fix his mistake, while getting Carter's help to make sure that there'll be a way to save the situation if anything happens to him (which it does).

** Jo is angry with Carter for cruelly and bluntly saying he never thought of the possibility of a romance between them unaware it was Alison in Carter's body at the time. When she does realize it, she redirects it to Alison, though her tone seems to be more disappointed that her friend didn't tell her the truth and hurt her that way.

** The underlying effect the crew's time in the Matrix has on their personal relationships. Grace has difficulty being around Henry after the virtual one tried to kill her and she killed him in self-defense. Zane is pissed off at Carter even though he knows the relationship between the virtual Jo and Carter wasn't real. Alison meanwhile is distrustful of Jo for similar fears despite she understands logically its irrational to be so.

** Grace finally admitting to Henry that she's still having difficulty coming to grips with what happened to her in the matrix.

* From "Many Happy Returns", poor little Brian Perkins. The episode starts off with him having basically become an orphan with the sudden death's of both his parents. Things seem to start looking up when his mother is revealed to have been a clone, and the real one shows up in town. Sadly, the real Susan is understandably shocked upon leaning the boy is her "biological child". Fortunatly, she warms up to the boy by the end of the episode.

* Dr. Todd talking about his failed experiment in Try, Try Again, and how they were forced to kill the subject of it in order to save Eureka, something which clearly haunts him. The very real fear that the same thing will happen to Fargo in the present is also pretty upsetting.
