* This entire episode is just a tearjerker for Oliver as he is placed in a world where he finally has everything he wants and is actually happy only to slowly figure out that none of it is real. He even briefly tries to throw himself fully into the reality by asking Laurel to marry him right now and showing how much he does love Laurel. When he confronts his parents who also try to convince him that this is his life he tearfully tells them both it's not and can only hug his mother and father tightly knowing he must leave.
** Props to Stephen Amell who really shows just how much Oliver is conflicted with leaving this seemingly perfect live and shows just how much Oliver is truly saddened to lose his parents a second time.
