* ArcherArchetype: Averted. Almost all of the archers/crossbowmen in this setting work as a team or leads one, commonly wear heavy armour and are pretty good in a melee. Among the elite - the Repulsar Knight Marksman carries a two-handed sword in addition to his bow, while the Warrior of the Sun has a firesword if he's up close. And for regular units, there's the Crossbowmen of the Firstborn who enjoy a brawl and will run enemies throught with their Bladed Heavy Crossbows before chopping at them with shortswords.
