Wiccan, entering Doom's castle alone, locates the Scarlet Witch; unfortunately, she not only has amnesia, but is scheduled to marry Doom. While Doom interrupts Wiccan's explanations to Wanda, defeating the boy, Wanda is intrigued enough by what Wiccan had told her to escape with him. This leads, of course, into a massive fight outside of Castle Doom, featuring the Avengers, the Young Avengers, Magneto, and the Latverian army. appears and intervenes, taking Wanda and the Young Avengers into the past, before the events of Avengers Disassembled. Wanda's still an amnesiac, and - hoping to spur her memories - they take her to the Avengers Mansion, where Cassie disregards the rules of time-travel to hug her deceased father, Scott Lang, who's currently still alive. The appearance of Jack of Hearts marks the beginning of Disassembled, but this time his explosive second death does not kill Scott, and the event returns Wanda's memories to her. Wanda is stricken by the realization of what she's done, but Beast suggests that, if she caused such chaos with a spell, why not undo it with a spell? They get in touch with XFactor X-Factor to test the theory, and Wanda successfully restores Rictor's powers.

It begns with the Young Avengers fighting a terrorist band, so business as usual for them. Then, the real Avengers show up. When one of the terrorists attempts to detonate a nuclear weapon, Wiccan stops him, but accidentally KO's all the terrorists with his magic. This reminds the Avengers of Wanda, the ScarletWitch, prompting them to relate the tale of the ComicBook/HouseOfM: An alternate world where mutants ruled, and which was ultimately undone when Wanda de-powered the world's mutants and disappeared. The Avengers suspect that Wiccan and Speed may be the Scarlet Witch's lost sons, given that they're roughly the right age and bear similar powers to that of the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. The Young Avengers agree that they should start looking for Wanda, which leads to disagreement between the Avengers and their junior counterparts over who should take part in the search. After the prerequisite squabbling, the teams split up and 'Wanda' is located in Transia, only for her to be revealed as a Doombot. This, naturally, leads them to Latveria, kingdom of Doctor Doom himself.

It all began with the Young Avengers fighting against a terrorist band (everyday stuff). Then, the real Avengers joined them. A terrorist tried to blow his atomic weapon, and Wiccan stopped him with his magic. All the terrorists falled in coma, and Wiccan did not even knew what he was doing. The Avengers told them about the ScarletWitch, who got mad when she remembered that she lost her sons and killed several Avengers, tried to create a world where mutants rule, and finally uttering the three infamous words after dissapearing: "No more mutants". They suspected that Wiccan and Speed may be her lost sons: both are similar (and similar, age aside, to Wanda's father, Magneto) and their powers are similar to those of the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. The Young Avengers agree that they should seek the Scarlet Witch. But who will actually do it? All the Young Avengers? only Wiccan and Speed? the Avengers? Magneto? Quicksilver? Wonder Man? Place all those names in a blender and take two: the team-up has surely been proposed, and declined or foiled in two pages or less. In any case, they find Wanda at Transia, but it was a doombot, and so they head (each one on his own initiative) to Latveria.

In Latveria, Wiccan found the Scarlet Witch, with amnesia and about to get married with Dr. Doom. Doom defeats him, but she is intrigued by the things he was telling her. They escape toguether, and everyone else (young and adult avengers, Magneto and the army of Latveria) start a big fight outside the castle. The battle is joined by , who rescues Wanda and the Young Avengers by taking them into the past. Hoping to awake Wanda's memories, they return to the Avengers Mansion, right before the AvengersDisassembled event. Breaking all the rules of time travel, Cassie goes directly to hug her father Scott-Lang, and they save him when they escape from the explosion of Jack of Hearths (the explosion that killed Scott back then). This awaked Wanda's memories, who took them back to the present. She was troubled when she remembered that she decimated the whole mutant race, but the Beast proposed an alternative: she made a spell, what if the spell is undone? They call X-Factor to test it, to see if she can turn a former mutant into a mutant again. She successfully restored Rictor's powers.

But then, the X-Men show up, to execute the Scarlet Witch for her crime. And the Avengers and Magneto, who finally returned from Latveria, to save her and let her undo the spell. To stop the fight, the Scarlet Witch forces them to sleep, and returns to Latveria. She thinks that, with his help and Wiccan's, she can focus her reality warping powers and restore the powers of all mutants at once. But Patriot does not want to risk Doom taking control of Wanda's power, so he shoot to them in the middle of the spell... and that is precisely what happens: Doom gets the reality warping powers. He turns into al all-powerful giant, and the Avengers and X-Men attack him. It seems that he kills Scott Lang, so Cassie attacks him... and Doom . Wanda and Wiccan reopen the source of the reality warping power, and Doom gets in the middle, to get even more; but he just gets burned, and lost it.

In the end, the Scarlet Witch does not have reality powers anymore, the mutants are still cursed, and the Young Avengers break up after it. However, they are summoned to the Avengers mansion, .
