''Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger'' (roughly Beast Power Squadron Kyoryuger) is the [=37th=] program in the ''Franchise/SuperSentai'' franchise, airing from 2013 to 2014. It is the third dinosaur-themed installment in the franchise, following ''Series/KyoryuSentaiZyuranger'' (1992) and ''Series/BakuryuuSentaiAbaranger'' (2003).

* BreakingOldTrends: This series marks the first time the team line up consists of no Yellow Ranger.

** Oddly enough, this isn’t the first time Creator/ShigeruChiba portrayed [[Manga/GhostSweeperMikami a mad scientist with a high respect towards his female assistant in a Toei-produced show.]]

** The cheerful ending sequence can cause whiplash in some episodes, but none more than episode 28...[[spoiler:Torin just committed seppuku. And now, happy dancing children!]]

It was adapted for American audiences as ''Series/PowerRangersDinoCharge'', the 2015-16 entry in the ''Franchise/PowerRangers'' franchise. Its Korean dub, ''Power Rangers Dino Force'', also did well enough to receive a 12-episode SequelSeries in 2017 called ''Series/PowerRangersDinoForceBrave'' which would be dubbed in Japan as ''Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Brave''.

* HeartIsAnAwesomePower: Most of the Zyudenchi powers aren't exactly good for combat, but the Kyoryugers still use them effectively anyway. These powers include a LovePotion (Stymero), a Paper Man power (Tuperanda), a {{Fartillery}} (Ovirappoo) and a ''TickleTorture'' (Igeranodon).

* WidgetSeries: While we're not sure yet, a few aspects of the show are odd for ''Super Sentai''. And that's not counting the Mythology Gags to [[Series/BattleFeverJ the king of Super Sentai widget seasons.]]

In episode 25, when everyone is having nightmares, everyone speaks about their dreams in detail, but what is glossed over is that Daigo was dreaming about Amy. And in episode 27, when Daigo goes Feral, everyone tries to figure out a way to trap him but they only use itesm they are interested in. However, Ian has Amy pretend to be a damsel in distress figuring it would draw him out. Amazingly, that tactic works.]]

* AnimalThemedSuperbeing
