Arbitrary Skepticism is when characters in a fantastical setting are skeptical about something that's not any less plausible than the things they take for granted. A person in a mundane setting being dubious about the sudden appearance of miracles is perfectly ordinary skepticism.
* ArbitrarySkepticism: Judy, but that's the whole point.

Trope names are required to be visible; there's no point having an example if you can't say what it's an example of. If it's really such a spoiler to even know the trope is used, don't list the example at all.

* DoingInTheWizard: Subverted; while watching a tape of Steve bringing daylight to the football stadium, an academic comments to Judy that they could theoretically check weather patterns to see what day's weather it was. Judy seizes on this as proof that it isn't a miracle, only to be bluntly told that it's nothing of the kind; couching it in scientific terms doesn't change the fact that it's completely impossible.
