misleading info about Christian Science vs. Jehova's Witness - I'm from a multigenerational Christian Science family and both parents have been leaders in Christian Science organizations.

* ArtisticLicenseReligion: A cadet says his mother died in the hospital because his father refused to allow a blood transfusion for her as he was a Christian Scientist. However, the opposition to blood transfusions is part of Jehovah's Witnesses beliefs, not Christian Scientists' (Christian Science encourages believers to use their healing practices, but still does not forbid using regular medicine if need be).

However, the opposition to blood transfusions in particular is part of Jehovah's Witnesses beliefs, not while Christian Scientists' Science discourages the use of all medical practices, including going to the hospital to begin with (Christian Science encourages believers to technically 'allows' regular medicine, but the theology strongly warns against it, local churches can ban membership from those who use their healing any medical practices, but still does not forbid using regular medicine if need be).etc.).
