* ShownTheirWork:ShownTheirWork: One interest of the SCP Foundation is of course science, and thus many articles go into deep details about the science of the unscientific.

Added DiffLines:

** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2223 SCP-2223]], an SCP mostly about an anime image that manipulates search algorithms to go to the top of the search results, has a massive section detailing the specific mechanics behind the mathematics of search engine algorithms and the mathematics of identifying the anomaly.
** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2123 SCP-2123]] involves tons of technical discussions about quantum anomalies in a supercollider and the frightening implications of it.
** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-3966 SCP-3966]] has a ''lot'' of technical information on biochemical science, without any expositions.

* SignificantAnagram: [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-3512 SCP-3512 "The More You Know"]]: The Pick-Up Artist book has 12 chapters, then 12 additional chapters with meaningful anagrammed titles. For example "Chapter 12 [12] You Know Theorem" introduces advanced mathematics and "Chapter 12 [14] Where To, You Monk?" talks about a monk-like architect; additionally "The book's afterword is composed of more than 15,000 anagrams of the book's title, laid out in spiral and triangular patterns."

* SlashFic: For April Fools Day 2017, an author wrote a furry fanfic of [[http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-1893 SCP-1893]] (a minotaur entity that can only be documented in narratives) and [[http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-2547 SCP-2547]] (the Navajo Coyote, who survives and is powered by various narratives about him). It's an addendum to the original SCP-1893, with the dialog between the two characters describing the cross-proliferation between narratives of 1893 and 2547 leading to Coyote/Minotaur slash fics forming. It's ''very'' NSFW, so no link will be given.

* WhamLine: The SCP Foundation has several of these. Often an entry will lead the reader in a certain direction by deliberately not revealing all of the object's qualities; the WhamLine will then drastically change the tone of the piece.
** Classified object classes. Sometimes, an SCP would explicitly state its object class as being one class, but then you open a collapsible and see its true object class and description. The classified object class is usually Keter or Thaumiel.
** During earlier times, any use of '''Object Class:''' [[ArcWords Thaumiel]], regardless of obscured or unobscured, is very much a wham line, since it indicates that the SCP is beneficial to the Foundation's goals instead of being the usually expected "dangerous anomaly".
** From [[http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/sandrewswann-s-proposal Andrew Swann's SCP-001 proposal]]: "But we found out that there is a God, and it is SCP-001. And it's a bunch of horror writers."
** [[http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-089 SCP-089]]: "For each locution event, SCP-089-A is a healthy, unblemished human infant or child between eight months and six years of age, and SCP-089-B is that child's natural mother."
** Doubling as an EasterEgg, [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-231 SCP-231-7]] has the following hidden line in her description: "Don't believe it when they say they're trying to save [[ApocalypseMaiden her]]. Why would they bother? They've got [[EldritchAbomination exactly what they want]] [[FetusTerrible exactly where they want it]]."
** An ''accidental'' example, in the form of EarlyInstallmentWeirdness creating a MetaTwist, occurs at the beginning of SCP-682's entry. It's a recurring theme of the articles that the purpose of the Foundation is ''not'' to destroy objects, but rather to study and contain them. Which makes it so startling (at least to a new reader who doesn't know 682 is the second-oldest object on the site) that 682's containment procedures begin with this line:
--->"SCP-682 must be destroyed as soon as possible."
** [[http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-804 SCP-804]]: "[[NotBrainwashed They simply]] ''[[NotBrainwashed wanted]]'' [[NotBrainwashed to do it.]]"
** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-1000 SCP-1000]]: "They're smarter - to be precise, they are exactly as smart as us."
** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-1926 SCP-1926]]: "Flopsy failed to protect everything we hold dear. Flopsy failed to protect us."
** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2000 SCP-2000]], being a bit of a Wham SCP, has several, but three in particular stand out:
--->''"'''Object Class:''' Thaumiel"'' (see above)
--->''"Previous attempts to ameliorate violent and sociopathic tendencies in humanity as a whole have already been implemented [[HumansAreBastards and deemed successful]]."''
--->''"Valid Foundation security credentials for [[spoiler:Dr. Alto Clef]] were discovered nearby, although a genetic match could not be established"''
** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2317 SCP-2317]] has two on its final iteration:
*** '''Object Class:''' Keter (stricken out) Apollyon
*** '''Special Containment Procedures:''' Irrelevant.
** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2740 SCP-2740]]: Currently, it is believed that Olivia Lee [[spoiler:does not exist, nor has ever existed.]]
** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2770 SCP-2770]] [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/incidentreportnullpleaseseeasupervisor Incident 2770-C]]: SCP-2770-1: I think you forgot about the water table, you fucking idiot.
** From the [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/document-recovered-from-the-marianas-trench Document Recovered from the Marianas Trench]]: Why not? It's been done before.
** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-1025 SCP-1025]]: [[YourMindMakesItReal Not one out-of-the-ordinary infectious agent was found anyplace this item was tested]].
** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2747 SCP-2747]] destroys narratives "from within" when references to a non-existent work of fiction start appearing on online discussion forums, including a non-existent Creator/SatoshiKon movie on this very wiki and an album from the "now defunct" band Music/{{Radiohead}}. Because SCP-2747 is only known from references it's been impossible to observe directly; fortunately the Foundation found a way and it revealed [[spoiler: [[ApocalypseHow/ClassZ [DATA LOST] ]] ]]
** SCP-2935 is an alternate dimension where [[ApocalypseHow everything even down to the microbial level]] has died at the same time. The investigation team sent into it heads to a nearby SCP site within the universe, and checks up on that universe's 682:
---> ''The corpse of SCP-682 is visible within the chamber. Entity displays no signs of life.''

** [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2726 SCP-2726]] is [[HauntedTechnology a dead member of Gamers Against Weed that has had their soul uploaded onto the internet]]. A good part of the interview in the article is about ripping into Series/BlackMirror (specifically [[Series/BlackMirrorSeriesTwo Be Right Back]] from Series 2) and how its criticisms of technology are shallow and the scenarios unimaginative and limited.
