* HeelFaceTurn: Lonee Millard (Gloria Calomee), Bock's secretary, is willing to forge signatures for him because he took her in after her family died, so she thinks he's a good man. Jim tries to convince her that Bock is just using her until [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness he no longer needs her]]; she's convinced when she sees Bock's men about to beat up Artie, and Bock responds by taking her hostage.

Upon further investigation they find that someone has been trying to drive the local farmers off their land. The culprit appears to be Theodore Bock (Simon Scott), a local businessman who is trying to acquire the farmers' property for reasons of his own and who is more than willing to use intimidation, torture and murder to achieve his goal.
