* CallBack: Ahsoka demonstrates that she's learned from Master Sinube. She calms her mind then reaches out to listen in on the conversations going on around the bar.

Added DiffLines:

* StrongerWithAge: As is typical with force-wielders, Plo demonstrates that he's far more the expert than Ahsoka. In one swift series of movements, he flips the table to block Aura's foot-darts, Force throws Boba backward and disarms him, throws the table between Ahsoka and Aura to save the former from the latter's blaster barrage, then leaps forward to destroy both of Aura's blasters with a single swing of his saber.

* RedShirt: Averted this time. Considering that one of the three hostages the Bounty Hunters took was a generic, [[NoNameGiven unnamed]] naval officer it would make sense for a first time viewer to believe ''this guy'' would be the one to get killed for the sake of rising the stakes, but [[DroppedABridgeOnHim Ponds would end up suffering that fate]].

* EvenEvilHasStandards: Some of Aurra's actions in the previous episodes had already provoked this from Boba, but this episode establishes that she provokes this reaction from just about ''every other bounty hunter''. Lampshaded by Hondo when he assures Castas that very few people are able to handle her.

** Hondo is shown to hold honor in high regard, speaking fondly of Jango Fett as an honorable man and later convincing Boba to reveal the location of the hostages as the honorable thing to do.

Added DiffLines:

* KnowWhenToFoldThem: Hondo knows full well by this point not to mess with Jedi and wants no part in Aurra's plan. When Ahsoka and Plo Koon arrive, he confirms Plo's suspicions that they're walking into a trap so the Jedi know that he has nothing to do with it, and later stops one of his men from taking a potshot at Ahsoka as she takes off after Aurra.

* PetTheDog: Downplayed, given Aurra's abandonment of Boba to his fate later in the episode (alongside the other psychological abuse she subjects him to), but when Boba tries to drink an alcoholic beverage, Aurra's maternal instincts toward him cause her to prevent him from doing this. She and Hondo are also revealed to be AmicableExes, which contracts with her sadistic behavior toward various others.

* MexicanStandoff: Aurra and Plo Koon's confrontation eventually escalates into one, with Ahsoka holding Aurra at lightsaber-point, Boba holding Plo Koon at gunpoint, and Aurra (under the table) primed to shoot Plo Koon with poisoned darts. Nobody actually gets hurt in the ensuing violence, but Boba does get captured.

* ChekhovsSkill: For the second time in the series, Ahsoka shows off the Togruta trait of using their montrals as passive echolocators, giving her much better hearing. Combining that with the Force allows her to listen in on conversations at the bar.

* WhatYouAreInTheDark: Once again, Boba has the chance to execute a clone in cold blood. And once again, he can't bring himself to do so. He also reveals the location of the hostages after Hondo points out his father, an honorable man, would have done it too.

After two attempts on Mace Windu's life, Boba Fett and the older bounty hunters he's working with have taken three Republic officers. Aurra Sing decides to use them to draw Master Windu out so Boba can have his revenge, although this tactic doesn't sit that well with him. However, since Mace is still recovering from being trapped in the wreckage of the ''Endurance'', Master Plo Koon and Padawan Ahsoka Tano are sent to locate the bounty hunters and free the hostages, ending Boba's search for revenge once and for all.

!!Tropes:

* ArmedLegs: Aurra has darts in her boot that she tries to use on Master Plo, but he senses it and flips the table to block them.
* BarBrawl: Narrowly averted when Ahsoka gets caught eavesdropping by Castas' Nautolan associate and a member of Hondo's crew in a dive bar. Plo and Ahsoka back out, and the bartender demands that no one shoot up his place.
* BoomHeadshot: Commander Ponds is executed this way by Aurra, after Boba can't bring himself to fire.
* TheCityNarrows: Plo and Ahsoka head to the underlevels of Coruscant in order to find information on where Boba and company may have gone.
* DisconnectedByDeath: When Castas attempts to betray Aurra, she shoots him while he's on a hologram transmission with an associate of his.
* DramaticSpaceDrifting: After his murder, Ponds' body is ejected into space.
* ExactWords: When Hondo asks Aurra about the downed Republic cruiser on Vanqor, she says that she "wouldn't take credit for that". While Aurra didn't technically take down the cruiser, she was certainly involved in the sabotage that ''did''.
* GoryDiscretionShot: The scene cuts away just before Aurra murders Ponds.
* HeHadAName: When asked for his name by the bounty hunter about to murder him, Commander Ponds replies with his alphanumeric designation, CT-411. Watching the recording of the murder, Anakin reminds everyone that the dead man's ''name'' was Ponds.
* HostageSituation: The hostage-taking in the previous episode comes to a head, as Aurra threatens to have them killed one by one if Mace doesn't come out and meet her and Boba, starting with the unfortunate Commander Ponds.
* IAmTheNoun:
-->'''Plo Koon:''' We ''are'' justice.
* InVinoVeritas: Plo advises Ahsoka to listen, as "you may be surprised what people reveal when they have been... drinking".
* MoneyToThrowAway: Exiting a dive bar under tense circumstances, Ahsoka defuses the tension by tossing a handful of credit chips in the air to pay for a round on the house.
* NoodleIncident: Hondo and Aurra's past, with it indicated they were in a romantic relationship and that he eventually bailed from under her command.
* NotWhatISignedUpFor: Castas decides to quit the job because he thinks that the bounty hunters are in way over their heads with how things have gone in the attempt to kill Mace.
* OutsideRide: Ahsoka jumps onto the outside of ''Slave I'' when Aurra attempts to escape in the ship, and then takes it down by herself.
