* LargeAndInCharge: A player avatar's size appears to be consistent with the character's power level. The Wraithmaster and the Tunnel Lord, two of the most powerful player avatars, tower above most other players, and after being given the powers of all the players being held captive, Zita ends up dwarfing Malcolm.

* NiceJobBreakingItHero: In a very minor point, Kim and Ron end up tripping up Rufus as the latter is taking on Malcolm. As Rufus is gaining the upper hand in the fight, Kim tries to free the prisoners and asks Ron's help to turn the key, which in turn puts Ron out in the open in the middle of Rufus and Malcolm's duel just as Rufus disarms Malcolm. [[GrievousHarmWithABody Cue Malcolm grabbing Ron and using him as an improvised weapon]], making Rufus hesitate as he doesn't want to hurt his friend. However, this also leads to Ron convincing the captive ''Everlot'' players to give their powers to Zita, who finishes off the Wraithmaster.

* SwappedRoles: As a Spritekin, Kim's character is too small and weak to even turn a key without Ron's help, and she is left to distract Malcolm while the more experienced RPG players take him on directly, and she even clumsily gets caught in a chandelier rope while dropping it on him.

As a result of the disparity in power between him and his opponents, the style remains fairly effective. He switches to two-handed fighting when confronted with the Tunnel Lord, who proves to be more than a match for him.
