Correcting quotes.

** In the final scene of the episode, Chris says "Welcome back, douchebag" on FOX. On DVD, he instead says "Welcome back, asshole".

According to Seth himself in the commentary, Matt actually liked that scene. James L. Brooks and Al Jean hated it.

** The extended version of the episode with the fake promo of ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons'' that had Quagmire raping Marge and soon having relations with her to the point of murdering the entire Simpsons family is cut from the TV version (FOX and syndication, not the Creator/AdultSwim version) because it nearly destroyed Seth [=MacFarlane=]'s relationship with ''The Simpsons'' creator Matt Groening. Even the FOX censors thought it went too far.

The example reads awkwardly as written, and removing natter.

* MeanBoss: Carl the Mini-Mart owner proves to be a {{Jerkass}} for Meg (like most of the characters on the show so it's not really significant). She didn't necessarily "demand" Chris to do this.

* PetTheDog: Lois ends up being empathetic to Meg after she gets discharged from the gas station and even demands that Chris gets Carl to re-hire her.

* BreakTheHaughty: The entire episode is one for Brian. He moves in with Jillian to an apartment, not to have a committed relationship, but to prove to Lois that he is capable of having one, only for it to backfire in his face. That and he only stayed in his relationship only for sexual reasons, prompting her to leave him. Not only that, but his novel 'Faster Than The Speed of Love' being a pretentious rip-off of 2 of the ''Film/Iron Eagle'' movies end up getting mocked, not only in this episode, but later ones as well.
