Calvin's bored at school, as usual. Upon being called to the board to solve a problem, he imagines himself as Spaceman Spiff and runs out of the room, pretending to have escaped being sacrificed to the evil god [[PunnyName Nol-eje.]]
And thus begins the escape, which involves Stupendous Man breaking out of a locker, Tracer Bullet being "trapped" in the bathroom, Spiff firing an "electro-band" at an alien (the fourth-grade teacher Mrs. Rose), Spiff sneaking into an alien boot camp (gym class) and calling Hobbes, and finally getting discovered by Miss Wormwood and escaping the building.
Naturally, Calvin's mother finds him, and to make a long story short, he gets extra homework.
