He takes up learning how to administer various mixed chemicals to use on himself after years of testing, and finally, he has his concoction ready. At the last minute, he trips while holding his serum into his chemical supply which causes his lab to explode and destroy his backups. The fanboy gains droopy and very difficult to use elastic powers, looking more like [[FamilyGuy he had lost his bones]] rather than a rubber human and it kills his hopes of being a hero.
