****** In addition to actual Hell

****** In addition *** Orthodox Christianity states that hell is both a place and a state of person. The sinner's soul now lives with demons, and is greatly tormented by them. And the fire? It's the ''God's love''. It gives the absolved the eternal happiness and brings the eternal torment to actual Hellthe damned. (Keep in mind that repentant Orthodox Cristians can still be saved even if they committed mortal sins, the others's fate is at best unknown.) You should have freed your soul from sins and passions (inborn sins and sins that became habits). **** And how terrible is hell? An angel came to an saint Orthodox Christian, who suffered greatly because of illness and prayed to the Lord for release. An angel came and told him that in order to be saved, he should endure another year in humility... or to suffer three hours in hell. It took '''one hour''' this person to want to get out, as it was like a very long time. He chose to suffer a year on Earth.

** The real nightmare fuel is that crucifixition wasnt something they made up just for him, it was a common execution method for criminals back then, especially rebels and slaves. Though they did not generally make the criminals carry their crosses to the execution place.

***** Orthodox Sacred Tradition states that the God IS PRESENT in Hell. The problem is that you have become a damned, that the very presence othe God burns you because of it... while for redeemed it is like warm sun. His VERY PRESENCE, HIS LOVE, UNENDING is what makes you burn, as you have missed your chance. ***** In short, GOD is HELL for the sinner...

*** While God seems to have mellowed out since Jesus' sacrifice, there is still the fact that all the things we consider to be "Acts of God" such as hurricanes and earthquakes won't even be able to hold a ''candle'' to what's going to happen during the End Times.

* The story of Job. Sure he's gets back almost everything he lost in the end, but to simply prove a point to Satan, God essentially allowed Job's life to be destroyed. Those children who died? Unique people who you can't simply replace. The worst part is that God simply could have said 'no' to Satan. Being an omniscient being, God already knew how that story was gonna play out yet he let it happen anyway...

Fixed an example of "This Troper"
* [[CaptainObvious The AntiChrist]]. Now, as a Christian, I realize that ANYBODY can be anti-Christian, and the AntiChrist in The Revelation is more-or-less The Beast. However, the AntiChrist is just plain scary. Watching the AntiChrist discussion on the History Channel, they point out that people throughout history have been called the Son of the Devil. Nero, Napoleon... even Hitler! Given the fact that (although YMMV on Napoleon) those previous guys were all pretty frickin' awful, just imagine how horrible the true blue SOTD will be.

The God description needs to be more objective.
*** And God knows everything, so He knew when He created you whether or not you would break those rules. Even if he knew you would fail and be damned for all eternity, he still made you, just to be condemned to hell. God creates people entirely to deem them unworthy and sentence them to eternal, unimaginable suffering. *** God is portrayed as literally omnipotent and ''still'' allows people to suffer forever. It's not even as if it's doing any good that God couldn't already do with his omnipotence. *** Though there's still the issue of free will, as Literature/TheBible explicitly says that God does not tempt man to do evil and that the plans he has for us are good( James 1:13, Jeremiah 29:11)

****** In addition to actual Hell ***** There's even a somewhat popular interpretation of Hell as a place where you're completely alone, cut off from everyone and everything. I think that this might be one of the worst possible versions of Hell. Just think about that seriously and literally: You'd be completely isolated from the rest of the universe...
