Drink a vial containing a deadly poison that will kill Ethan in one hour, giving him enough time to save Shaun and say goodbye. HeroicSacrifice indeed. [[note]] The poison is actually fake. * Leland White, the suspect that Madison investigates in the Taxidermist DLC, kills women and has them stuffed just like the animals mounted on his wall. The first stuffed woman Madison sees is VERY creepy as it is just sitting on the couch smiling.

** Madison Paige: Square One is definitely a nightmare to people who suffer from insomnia. In this ending, [[TheInsomniac Madison]] succumbs to her insomnia and begins to see men in black masks sneaking around and eventually facing her, unable to tell the difference between reality and her hallucinations. A telephone message from her friend has him asking, concerned, about Madison who he hasn’t seen in a while, which means she has been in this condition for days.

It first starts with Ethan being forced to crawl through a cramped, tiny tunnel with broken glass all over the floor, which is any claustrophobic worst nightmare. Especially if you look at Ethan's arms after he's done this. This will eventually leads to a large room. A room with rows and rows of ''active'' electrical condensers. And of course, the next clue is at the end of the room.

** Special mention goes to the third trial, where Ethan is forced to [[{{Fingore}} cut off his freaking finger]]. It's not so much the fact it's being cut off so much as it is the fact you CONTROL EVERY SECOND OF IT, even as he screams in agony. The fact you even get to choose which device he does it with (which happens to include an hatchet, saw, wire cutters and a pair of scissors among other things) somehow makes it worse. If you use the scissors, he has to cut off a lingering bit of it... ''twice''.

* [[UnstoppableRage Scott rampage into Kramer’s mansion.]] From Kramer’s bodyguards perspective, [[OhCrap Scott is their grim reaper.]] Armed with only a pistol, Scott manages to blast his way inside the mansion, killing every single person he sees without hesitation. It’s even more scary when you know who Scott really is.
