* Episode 24: The battle between Kiritsugu and Kirei. [[spoiler: Both men are fighting to the death, using every resource available to them and the blows they land on each other is horrifying. First Kirei manages to close the distance quickly with his [[CharlesAtlasSuperpower insane speed]]] and punches Kiritsugu so hard in the chest, his heart explodes! Luckily, Kiritsugu had Saber's Noble Phantasm hidden within himself to heal himself and manages to shoot and graze Kirei's head with his Calico before shooting his Contender. Kirei tries to deflect the bullet with a karate chop but is forced to redirect the bullet by moving his arm, ''with the bullet still inside and traveling within'' resulting in a giant hole exiting his arm. Kiritsugu tries to cave Kirei's head in with the handle of the Contender while moving at three times his normal speed but Kirei blocks with his mangled arm, resulting in a sickening crunch. As Kiritsugu attempts to push his advantage and tries to kill Kirei with a knife, Kirei deflects all his blows and tries to destroy Kiritsugu's head before Kiritsugu dodges the death blow, moving ''four'' times as fast, and throws his knife into Kirei's kneecap before trying to shoot him one last time with the Contender. Not one to be outdone, Kirei throws the rest of his Black Keys in a circular formation as he charges down the middle to lock Kiritsugu in for the final death blow. The outcome of the battle is then interrupted as the Grail's black mud then breaks through the ceiling, engulfing both men...]]

* Kariya's [[spoiler:death. A mixture of the nightmare and TearJerker; through sheer force of will he manages to slowly walk from the aftermath of Saber and Berserker's final duel to the death, body ravaged beyond belief, to his home. There, he descends into Zouken's hellish basement where Sakura's innocence was robbed and says out loud that he's there to save her. What looks like a HopeSpot as Kariya takes Sakura away to reunite with her family, which includes a healthy Aoi, is then slowly revealed with Kariya's corpse on the stairs, which then falls to the floor as it is slowly devoured by Zouken's worms...]]

* Episode 10 has a very SlasherMovie feel. Ryunosuke being the villain and Rin being the focus character. It has a very AdultFear theme to it [[SavedByCanon despite the fact that Rin is a pivotal character around 10 years later]]. Children go missing and then Rin decides to look for them ''in another city''. She sees Ryunosuke mind-controlling kids and leading them away by the hand. Then she finds his lair. Then it's a SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome for Rin. [[spoiler: Then Rin nearly gets jumped by one of Caster's tentacle abominations, and Kariya gets to pull an [[SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome awesome]] BigDamnHeroes moment.]]

* One for the Einzbern Consultation Room, but based on Iri's comment before Lancer arrives [[spoiler: about how fast the Greater Grail shows up, and how dark her comments can get at times (or the JerkAss behavior of driving Lancelot insane again), it's very well possible that Angra Mainyu could be staging takeovers on Iri and directing the Servants to the Greater Grail while Iri may want to genuinely help them.]]

* Oh, and Caster's lab. Oh gods, Caster's lab. Think Kirei's basement from ''VisualNovel/FateStayNight'', just with a lot more blood and a lot less purpose. It consists of ''the still alive bodies of men, women, and children carved up and turned into instruments, artwork, and furniture.''

** Even worse when you realize that Zouken has been doing this to children, his own children, his children's children, etc, for [=centuries=]. Every generation, a child of the Matou family is subjected to exactly what happened to Sakura, but for Sakura, it was 'only' a decade. The others lived out their entire lives under Zouken's cruel penis-with-teeth worm fingers. And he had to learn his craft from someone, right? How old is the Matou family? Much too old.

** Probably because there are no {{Eldritch Abomination}}s, serial killers, or other supernatural aspects, just a paralyzed man who's lost his reason for existence (his magic) being emotionally manipulated--and then, when it doesn't work, physically mutilated with the threat of being reduced to a limbless husk--by the one person he cares for.
