** If we're going to get into that franchise, we must mention the Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger, Space Pirates with the requisite hats (or a do-rag in the case of the SixthRanger) built into their Ranger helmets and their Megazord!
** Speaking of the Megazords, the ones in Series/MahouSentaiMagiranger/Series/PowerRangersMysticForce and Series/SamuraiSentaiShinkenger/Series/PowerRangersSamurai also have Nice Hats (a pointy wizard hat and a samurai helmet, respectively).
** The original GiantRobot NiceHat belonged to Galaxy Mega from Series/DenjiSentaiMegaranger (Galaxy Megazord, Series/PowerRangersInSpace), due to the way the Mega Shuttle combined with the Mega Ship (the Galaxy Mega's head folds out from the underside, leaving the wings to look like a brim). As such, its parody in Series/GoGoSentaiBoukenger wears an enormous top hat.

** Not one to be outdone in the fashion department, Romana sported at least four (if you count Shada). ** Eleven has a fondness for hats which, combined with his rampant AttentionDeficitOohShiny, often results in him acquiring a new one in the middle of saving the world. In The Big Bang, he picks up a fez out of a museum, claiming that "Fezzes are cool". Amy and River take initiative to stop him from adding this to his accoutrements (which already contains a bowtie) by snatching it off his head, throwing it into the air, and blowing it up. The fez has now reached MemeticMutation levels, both in the show and fandom. It has become the Doctor's ongoing battle to try and keep a fez. He even steals one from Einstein. In The Impossible Astronaut, he turns up in America wearing a Stetson (which makes additional appearances later on), only to have River Song shoot it off his head. Top hats, a pirate captain hat and a bowler hat have also made their way onto his head In Series/DoctorWhoConfidential, it was revealed that Creator/StevenMoffat had anticipated Creator/MattSmith growing attached to the fez and devised a cunning plan to kill the fez in its introductory episode, before Matt even knew about it.

* German popular science program "nano" has a recurring series "Wie jetzt?" vaguely akin to Mythbusters, but it mainly runs on plotting a cliche'd Macho character (the camera man) against the female reporter. The guy always wears a hat. He probably thinks it's a HatOfPower. (Oh no it ain't.)

* Series/FamilyMatters: Literally, the phrase "nice hat" becomes part of a gag. In the early Season 2 episode "Torn Between Two Lovers," Rachel is interviewing job seekers for her new restaurant and is wearing a hat. One of the applicants -- a young immigrant -- compliments her hat. "You have a nice hat!" he exclaims. But when Rachel begins asking questions about his background and experience, all he can reply with is, "You have a nice hat!" Rachel catches on quickly that the man knows very little English and tells him, in not so many words, that she'll call if he's hired and sends him on his way. "You have a nice hat!" the man says as he walks out the door. "Thank you!" replies Rachel.
