** For the entire anime, with both parts. The very first episode of Part 1 ended with Naruto receiving his Konoha forehead protector from Iruka, with the former reacting with stunned silence (as Iruka had put it on Naruto as a surprise). In the last episode of Part 2, when the credits have finished rolling, an extra scene shows an older Naruto [[spoiler:[[PassingTheTorch taking off his headband and giving it to his son, Boruto, who puts it on happily]]]].

* ArchivePanic: Let's see. 72 Volumes for the manga, Around 10 novels, 220 episodes for Naruto and 500 episodes for Naruto Shippuden. And let's not even talk about the movies. Yup, good luck to newcomers.

* ElementalRockPaperScissors: It's actually pretty clever, if you think about it a bit.
** Fire beats Wind, which is obvious: wind intensifies fire, so any Wind attack will end up backfiring.
** Similarly, Wind beats Lightning is again obvious: air (thus, wind) is an insulator, preventing lightning from passing through something.
** Lightning beats Earth is the tricky (and clever) one: lightning is nullified by earth[[note]]it's called "grounding"[[/note]] but, in the process, it travels through the earth and breaks it -and any Earth Style jutsu- apart.
** Earth beats Water is an easy one as well: earth turns water into mud, contaminating it and making it unusable.
** Finally, Water beats Fire is a no-brainer: the best way to put out a fire is to throw water at it.
** Then, there's the secondary relation between the different natures. Wind intesifies not only Fire, but also Water (think: tsunami, which are made huge by a gale). Lightning beats Water, since water is a conductor. Earth beats Fire, since the other, less efficient way to put out a fire is to cover it with dirt.

Earth, which are made huge by a gale). Lightning beats Water, since water is a conductor. Earth which beats Fire, since Fire again. Yes, the other, last two harshly contradict [[{{Franchise/Pokemon}} the trope codifier]], but they are more or less efficient way as easily justifiable, and the readers are expected to put out just [[MST3KMantra accept the above as a fire is to cover it with dirt.natural aspect of ninja science]] and move on.
