* Disney/Moana: A triple case: This animated 2016 Disney movie was re-titled to Vaiana in European and most Asian countries Even going so far as to rename the titular protagonist to that, and to have the voice actors re-record all dialogue and songs in the movie where her name is mentioned, with the alternate name; people generally think this is because of the existence of an Italian porn star (in the '90s - now deceased for over two decades) and supposed Disney concerns about family friendliness over that. However, the real reason for the title change was a cosmetics company called the same owns trademark to "Moana" across Europe Since "Moana" means ocean in Polynesian languages, and in the movie the ocean plays a big role, and the cosmetics company claims to use ingredients from the sea, for both of them it's a MeaningfulName too.
