* CityInABottle: Downplayed; "Village in a Bottle", actually. The opening of Season 5 ("The Cutie Map") features [[KnightTemplar Starlight Glimmer]] and her isolated village where all of the residents have essentially been cut off from the outside world and only think about living with one another equally, where talents don't determine value or social standing. Starlight's defeat reforms the village and herself, but [[OnceDoneNeverForgotten this doesn't stop her villainous past from being brought up ad nauseum]].

Shoehorn — describing two Smaug-like hoarders and a gang of teenage delinquents as "demonic" stretches its defintion to the breaking point, even before considering the multiple non-antagonistic dragons in the show.

** The Cutie Map has summoned Starlight Glimmer and Sunburst to go on a mission together. Sunburst asks Starlight if she's excited to be going on a mission with him, and she replies with a very BluntNo. Sunburst looks like the bottom just dropped out of his world. Starlight, to her credit, and demonstrating a huge degree of CharacterDevelopment for her, quickly amends her statement to say that she's fine with going on a mission with ''him''.
