* Shout-Out: He gives a possible shoutout to fellow rapper A$AP Rocky in "Good Feeling": .... ''Got a feeling it's a rap, asap''. He did pronounce his name instead of spelling the initials, it's also possible wordplay on A$AP Rocky's name and the ASAP acronym.

* AWildRapperAppears: More than a few instances of this, such as Music/JenniferLopez's "Goin' In", Olly Murs' "Troublemaker" and Music/EnriqueIglesias' "There Goes My Baby".

to:

* IntercourseWithYou: "Wild Ones", "Sugar" and "Right Round" are good examples of this trope, but of course, "Whistle" is the main star of the show, which is the most obviously sexual, unsubtle song from him.

* MainstreamObscurity: Despite having racked up numerous chart-topping hits, he's hardly a recognizable personality, physically or otherwise. WebVideo/ToddInTheShadows once described him as "a superstar who isn't famous."

Added DiffLines:

* EpicFail: Flo Rida, a Grammy Award-winning rapper, somehow lost to ''Wrestling/BoDallas'', a non-rapping novelty wrestler, in a freestyle rap off. To be fair, Bo used to do freestyle rap offs with Wrestling/AdrianNeville and Wrestling/SamiZayn back in Wrestling/{{WWENXT}}, but that doesn't mitigate the fact that Flo Rida is still a ''professional'' rapper who lost to someone that's supposed to be a complete amateur.
