** Since it's also the only weapon that can be taken beyond a portal, which is where Warden's fight demons, it's also generally the ''only'' weapon of X-killing.

A weapon which gets extra bonuses against a specific enemy type, without resorting to DepletedPhlebotinumShells (e.g. silver vs. werewolves) or ElementalRockPaperScissors (e.g. using fire against an ice monster). These bonuses can include AntiArmor and OneHitKill.

It is a subtrope of SituationalSword, and a form of SituationalDamageAttack.

There may be some overlap with AchillesHeel; in such cases, consider the weapon's effectiveness against things that ''aren't'' the NighInvulnerable critter.

Ways this can happen:
* AntiAir: Either weapons that deal bonuses
against an ice monster). These bonuses airborne enemies, or the only weapons that can include AntiArmor and OneHitKill.hit them at all.
* AntiArmor: The weapon may do more damage against armored enemies. Or, it may strip them of their armor altogether.
* AntiCavalry: The weapon is more effective against cavalry units.
* AntiInfantry: The weapon works better against infantry than against vehicles or cavalry.
* AntiVehicle: The weapon works better against vehicles, or it's the only weapon that can damage vehicles at all.
* DepletedPhlebotinumShells: Whether [[SupernaturalRepellent silver bullets against werewolves]] or [[KyrptoniteFactor Kryptonite spear against Superman]], the weapon relies on being made of, having a component of, or shooting, something that the thing is weak against.
* ElementalRockPaperScissors: Elemental weapon does more damage to enemies with an inferior element.

SituationalDamageAttack. Related is AchillesHeel, which this weapon can be.
