* ''Film/MontyPythonAndTheHolyGrail'': The right head of the Three Headed Knight seems to be this, as he initially argues against killing Sir Robin, preferring to have tea instead.

* ''Series/KamenRiderRyuki'': Shinji Kido and Miyuki Tezuka are the only [[NiceGuy Nice Guys]] in cast of riders that range from [[AntiHero anti heroes]] to [[PsychopathicManchild utter]] [[AxCrazy psychopaths]].
** This is also the unfortunate case of Emu Hojo/''Series/KamenRiderExAid''.

AxCrazy {{Psychopathic Manchild}}ren.
** This is also Most of the unfortunate case villainous ensembles of ''Series/KamenRiderGaim'' have one team member who is at least somewhat decent.
*** Of the four Ygdrassil Riders, Takatora Kureshima is the only one who acts to preserve the human race when the incoming apocalypse arrives, while the rest of his team only acts in self interest, the human race be damned.
*** DJ Sagara seems to be this for the Ygdrassil organization as a whole. While he does work for them, he does help Kouta from time to time, even breaking him out of an Ygdrassil holding cell and providing him with multiple power ups. [[spoiler: Appears is the right word here, as Sagara is the BigBad of the show and a godly entity who causes an apocalypse that would cause civilization to collapse. The reason why Sagara helped Kouta is because he doesn't like one side having all the cards in hand in dealing with the apocalypse.]]
*** Roshuo, the leader of the last survivors of the Femshinmu race, is the only one who regrets his past actions that lead up to the collapse of his civilization and near extinction of his race. The other survivors of this race are very psychopathic and relish in causing as much pain and destruction as possible.
**
Emu Hojo/''Series/KamenRiderExAid''.Hojo, the titular ''Series/KamenRiderExAid'' is the only rider in the series who actually cares about the emotional well being of the VictimOfTheWeek.

* ''Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger'', for once in ''Franchise/SuperSentai'' history, is a team filled with [[AntiHero not-so-clean heroes who are not in for helping people or promoting justice, but minding their own business]] (since they're {{pirate}}s)... except for [[TheChick Princess Ahim de Famille/Gokai Pink]], who's the cleanest, purest person who always can't resist to help other people in need.
** Gai Ikari, Gokai Silver, is another one, as he's an AscendedFanboy of ''Super Sentai'' who wants the Gokaigers to do things like help children who've tripped and give encouraging messages to their fans. Notably, when he's imagining what he wants the team to be like, Ahim's the only one who actually still acts like herself. In a surprise, not only do the Gokaigers think his imagination is ridiculous, [[EveryoneHasStandards even Ahim thinks his version of herself isn't exactly cool]] (though in the most polite way possible of saying it).
** Don Doggoier AKA Doc, is another one, though still fits a little more than Ahim since his main draw is that he's a ReluctantWarrior, thus less bloodthirsty than the rest. This does comes with a price, though, he's the designated ButtMonkey, so much that in Gai's ImagineSpot above, Don is nonexistent and had his place taken by Gai.

to:

* ''Franchise/SuperSentai'':
** Grey from ''Series/ChoujinSentaiJetman'' is this for the Dimensional War Party Vyram. While the rest of this group are sadistic jerks who enjoy making humans suffer as part of a sick twisted game, as well as making each other suffer, Grey refrains from this by fighting honorably and visibly caring for Maria[[spoiler: even after she reverts back to being Rie.]] One could say he is the most human of the Vyram members, which is ironic, as he is a robot.

need. Until the team is joined by SixthRanger Gai Ikari, Gokai Silver, a hyperactive young man with a burning desire to become a selfless superhero.
** The Evil Army Shadow Line from ''Series/ResshaSentaiToqger''
is another one, a DeadlyDecadentCourt where its members are scheming against each other as he's an AscendedFanboy of ''Super Sentai'' who wants much as against the Gokaigers to do things like help children who've tripped and give encouraging messages to their fans. Notably, when he's imagining what he wants the team to be like, Ahim's rangers with the only one exception being Gritta. rangers at all. The worst thing she did against them was switching bodies with a price, though, he's the designated ButtMonkey, so much that yellow ranger, but this stemmed from a desire to escape being used as a pawn in Gai's ImagineSpot above, Don is nonexistent and had his place taken by Gai.her mother's political schemes.

** The [[PsychoRangers Linear Guild]] usually has some. Not surprising as they are the evil opposites of the Order, which has Belkar as the Token Evil Teammate. The original Linear Guild has Hilgya, a priestess of Loki, who turns out to be not overly malicious (though she repeatedly attempted to murder her husband; while it being an arranged marriage may complicate things, her husband seemed to be a nice guy who did his best to make her happy, and murder was her first solution rather than the more successful fleeing she did later). Later they recruit a LawfulGood (or at least honorable LawfulNeutral, considering he let Nale and crew get away with mass murder) kobold to serve as the counterpart to Belkar.

** The Each incarnation of the [[PsychoRangers Linear Guild]] usually has some. Not surprising as they are at least one- which makes sense, given that Nale intentionally styles the evil opposites Guild's recruits as "evil opposites" to the Order of the Order, which Stick (though not all of them are actually counterparts to Belkar, the Order's TokenEvilTeammate).
*** The Guild's first incarnation
has Belkar as the Token Evil Teammate. The original Linear Guild has Hilgya, a priestess of Loki, [[BadassPreacher Hilgya Firehelm]], who turns out to be not overly isn't overtly malicious (though she repeatedly attempted to murder towards the protagonists and is actually helping Nale for her husband; while it being an arranged marriage may complicate things, own, unrelated reasons. She's definitely not ''good'' (between worshipping the Evil-aligned deity Loki and trying to kill her genuinely nice husband seemed due to be their ArrangedMarriage in the past), but she's definitely a heck of a lot more nice guy who did his best to make her happy, and murder was her first solution rather (and a heck of a lot ''less'' evil) than the more successful fleeing she did later). Later they recruit a LawfulGood (or rest of the Guild's lineup.
*** The second time around, there's Yokyok, who isn't actually evil
at least honorable LawfulNeutral, considering he let Nale all and crew get away is only working with mass murder) kobold to serve as the counterpart Guild for a chance to Belkar.take revenge on Belkar, who [[YouKilledMyFather killed his father]]. On the other hand, the fact that he's still willing to help the Guild commit murder and kidnapping to further his own plans is definitely a hit against his moral alignment.
*** After skipping over this trope for their third lineup, the Guild's Empire of Blood incarnation has Kilkil, who is only there at all because he works for Tarquin and is [[PunchClockVillain just doing his job]]. He never directly opposes the heroes at any point during his time on the team.

Alternatively, a Token Good Teammate can be found amongst a group of dastardly villains, in order for the show to make sure that the antagonist side does not go too black in terms of morality. Perhaps this character [[NobleDemon shows restraint in doing atrocious evil]], or [[ForcedIntoEvil is forced against his own will to be a bad guy]] (due to a hostage or some other leverage held by the bad guys, for example), or [[NotInThisForYourRevolution has other goals that are noble, but require him/her to be on the bad guys' side]], or [[MyMasterRightOrWrong is merely just following orders from the higher ups]] [[MyCountryRightOrWrong that he/she has sworn loyalty to]] ([[HonorBeforeReason high honor standards can cause such]]). This character has a high chance to become a sympathetic AntiVillain that the audience can root for, or perhaps even [[HeelFaceTurn call it quits and jump ship to the good guys]]. He may also be the TeamFace by virtue of not being an asshole. The other members will trust him more than each other and have him talk to the {{muggles}} when needed. In more cynical works, expect the Token Good Teammate to be [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness killed off]] by the BigBad to show how ruthless they are.

* Victor "Vic" Criss from ''Literature/{{It}}'' is the one member of the Bowers Gang to have morals and be much more reluctant to do what [[TheSociopath Henry Bowers]] wants them to do. At one point he warns the Loser's Club of Henry's degrading insanity and [[HeelFaceDoorSlam even considers joining them at one part]], but ultimately sticks with the gang and is eventually killed by the monster. This is present in the [[Film/{{It1990}} 1990 film adaptation]] as well, though greatly condensed to a single line where he tries to stop Henry from carving his name into Ben's belly.
--> '''Vic:''' Come on, Henry! That's enough!

* Basically the only gods in GreekMythology who aren't JerkassGods are [[LovableRogue Hermes]], [[MommasBoy Dionysus]] and, [[EverybodyHatesHades ironically Hades]]. All of whom you should never piss of, however, as they are still gods. Dionysus in particular can drive men and women into frenzies that makes them lose any sense with reality and sic them onto people as shown in the tragedy '''''The Bacchae'''''.

** [[VideGame/FireEmblemTheSacredStones The eighth]] has Selena, who can't stand the amount of [[KickTheDog dog-kicking]] the other generals of TheEmpire engage in and questions the point of the war. She even helps you protect a village from bandits early in the game. Due to her UndyingLoyalty to her country since the Emperor saved her village from starvation as a child, so she can't be persuaded to defect.

* Pretty much averted in ''WesternAnimation/WinxClub'', as the [[TheWeirdSisters Trix]], while generally pretty disagreeable to each other, are on pretty much the same page when it comes to being evil. But in the first season it seemed like Darcy might be this; her romance with Riven is ordered by Icy but depending on the version or dubbing she showed hints of being InLoveWithTheMark. Eventually nothing comes of it.
** Mirta/Mysta is the token nice girl at Cloud Tower, where all the other witches introduced hate fairies and want to hurt or prank them even if they're not part of the Trix coven. [[spoiler: she eventually realizes she's a fairy, not a witch.]]
** Headmistress Griffin, according to Faragonda and herself, was this in her youth, during the first Magix wars: she was in love with Valtor and involved with the Trix coven and the Ancestrals. She eventually left to join the Company of Light.

** Among the [[DifferentlyPoweredIndividual Inhumans]] of Afterlife in Season 2, this role falls to [[ShockAndAwe Lincoln]]. He's only tangentially involved in Jiaying's machinations, and never directly opposes the heroes until the finale- and he quickly makes a HeelFaceTurn when confronted by Daisy with how monstrous his superiors really are. By Season 3, he manages to become a full-fledged member of Coulson's team after some initial difficulties.
