* Jugo from ''Manga/{{Naruto}}'' qualifies as this [[JekyllAndHyde most of the time.]] While his SuperpoweredEvilSide has allegedly caused a massive amount of destruction in the past, Jugo's dominant personality is a calm, level-headed and non-violent man who [[IJustWantToBeNormal would rather not have the incredible superpowers that drive him insane from time to time.]] He acts as the Token Good Teammate given that his friends are: Suigetsu, a BloodKnight SerialKiller; Karin, a {{Yandere}} HotScientist and willing former servant of Orochimaru, and [[RivalTurnedEvil Sasuke]].

* Courtney from ''WesternAnimation/AsToldByGinger'' is the nice one out of the 'popular girls'. She's a SpoiledSweet rich girl who actively tries to befriend Ginger, though Miranda doesn't support their friendship.

* In ''VideoGame/{{Overwatch}}'', amongst the many many CorruptCorporateExecutive that runs the [[MegaCorp Vishkar Corporation]], Symmetra is the only one who at least has her morals straight and had concerns about the welfare of the innocents (though can't do much about it), which brings on her inner conflict, and makes her an AntiVillain. This trope goes double when you realize that she's probably the only AntiVillain amongst the antagonistic characters in the game, Reaper and Widowmaker are callous terrorists, while Junkrat and Roadhog are psychotic criminals, and [[CardCarryingVillain all four are shameless in doing bad things.]]

*Three of the Four Horsemen in ''VideoGame/WorldOfWarcraft'' are sadists and their quotes reflect so. Sir Zeliek is the one who has retained his humanity and, rather than taunt you, tries to make you turn back and survive, but is still [[AndIMustScream forced]] to fight for the Lich King.

* ''Anime/YuGiOh'': While all of Dartz's elite minions have [[FreudianExcuse tragic backstories]] that explain their StartOfDarkness, Raphael is distinct in that he seems to genuinely believe that Dartz is ''saving'' the world. He has so much respect for and connection to his cards that he successfully uses ''[[MagicPokerEquation the Heart of the Cards]]'' against Yami Yugi. He also successfully fights the influence of the Orichalcos, something only [[BrainwashedAndCrazy Mai]] had previously [[IKnowYouAreInThereSomewhereFight done]] (with ThePowerOfLove) and subsequently rescues Mai and Valon's comatose bodies from an earthquake.

* In ''VideoGame/TombRaiderAnniversary'' gives us Larson Conway of [[BigBad Natla's]] thugs. He's a former US Marine while his allies are a former gang leader and a full-blown serial killer who much prefers to talk it out with Lara and use non-fatal takedowns to defeat her. At one point he intentionally ''misses'' so she can escape, and later tries to talk her out of continuing by pointing out [[VillainHasAPoint the Scion technically belongs to Natla]], and only actually turns his weapon on her once she makes it clear she fully ''is'' willing to kill him to retrieve the Scion.

* ''Film/TwentyEightWeeksLater'' has Sergeant Doyle who, unlike the rest of the soldiers who follow the orders to kill ''all'' the survivors to prevent the spread of TheVirus, protects the main characters and goes far enough to [[HeroicSacrifice give his life to save them]]. [[spoiler:However it's a played with example as the other soldiers aren't ''evil'' so much as JustFollowingOrders which turned out to be quite justified when the ending shows Doyle's survivors have allowed the virus to spread to France and, in all likelyhood, [[NiceJobBreakingItHero the entire world]], all for the sake of saving two people.]]
