** ''VideoGame/Persona5'' has Makoto Nijima, who like Mitsuru is both president of her school's student council and a party member. Interestingly, though, it's a deconstruction of the role with nearly all the "anime" fantastical elements removed. Instead of being beloved by all, impossibly perfect, and having a level of power higher than the teachers and basically being the goddess of the school (like, say, Mitsuru) she's a completely powerless glorified gopher for the principal, all the students hate her (including the party at first) because they assume she was helping to cover up coach Kamoshida's abuse, and she's constantly stressed out by her numerous responsibilities, leaving her a far cry from the usual portrayal of a Student Council President.

* Mitsuru Kirijo from ''VideoGame/{{Persona 3}}''.
** Mitsuru also provides a justification for how much power she has. The school was built and is still owned by her family, the Kirijo Group, which is one of the most powerful groups in Japan and they have a say in the inner workings of running it. The teachers are thus rightly terrified of angering or otherwise disregarding Mitsuru in anyway, since she really does have far more power than they do.
** ''VideoGame/{{Persona 4}}'' has a brief cameo by her unlikely successor, [[spoiler:ex-ShrinkingViolet Chihiro Fushimi, who was Treasurer in the previous game.]]
** And in ''VideoGame/Persona4Arena'', [[spoiler:Labrys' mind creates a fantasy for her where she's this at Yasogami High School, in an attempt to fulfill a wish of the source of her personality, an IllGirl whose condition prevented her from going to school.]]

* Homura Akai in ''TokimekiMemorial 2'', and when she graduates, her ArchEnemy [[SenpaiKohai kohai]] Mei Ijuin takes the mantle. Let's just say that neither of them are your typical anime and video game Student Council President : the first is a lazy {{tomboy}} who was forcefully put in that role by the school headmaster, who hoped to make her a better student, and she instead used that opportunity to make things fun and wacky ; the second is a quirky MadScientist {{Tsundere}}. HilarityEnsues.

* In ''Manga/YamadaKunAndTheSevenWitches'', the student council president by and large has the power over the school, so it's a position that many people strive for. There have been four of them during Yamada's school time, due to one of them leaving the post early because of a vote of non-confidence: Haruma Yamazaki (the BigBad of the first part of the story), Toranosuke Miyamura (Yamada's [[TheLancer lancer]]), [[spoiler:Shinichi Tamaki (another of Yamada's friends, taking over after Miyamura)]], and an unnamed girl who was Yamazaki's predecessor. Nene Odagiri was runner-up to Miyamura, and Masamune Ichijo to [[spoiler:Tamaki]].

* Ava Crescentia and Kayto Shields of ''VisualNovel/{{Sunrider}}'' were the president and vice-president of the student council respectively in their youth. Ava tried to bring about positive change for the school during her tenure, but was so overbearing that she drove all the other council members away, which made her realize that she wasn’t cut out to be a leader. Eight years later, their positions are reversed: Kayto is captain of the ''Sunrider'' and Ava is his NumberTwo.
