* In the vector game based on ''TheEmpireStrikesBack'', each of the four stages had a bonus goal (in addition to surviving the stage) which awarded a letter in J-E-D-I when completed. Completing the word awarded temporary invincibility at the start of the next stage. As each letter was specific to a stage, it could be worth it to deliberately avoid the bonus in the third stage the first time through so that, rather than waste the invincibility on the relatively easy first stage, it could instead be used on the punishingly difficult fourth stage of each level.
