* The page quote refers to {{ComicBook/Darkseid}} sitting on [[ComicBook/{{Shazam}} Mary Marvel's couch]] while trying to seduce her to his side. Darkseid seems to generally enjoy trying out his best slouches of villainy in other people's couches when he wants to speak with them in private.

* In ''Series/GameOfThrones''. Joffrey slouches on the Iron Throne after he becomes king. Like many other things he does, this only makes him look StupidEvil rather than villainous. Note that in the books, the Iron Throne was designed in such a way that it was impossible to slouch while sitting on it without having old rusty blades stuck in your ribs; Joffrey managed to do so somehow. In the commentaries, it was explained that the actor makes this position because the Iron Throne is VERY uncomfortable, and with all the time he spends on it, he found a way to sit in a way that made it more manageable.

He even does it at the Lincoln memorial after removing the statue, a moment adapted for the [[TransformersDarkOfTheMoon third live action film]].

* BigBad Supreme Leader Snoke of ''Film/StarWarsTheLastJedi'' rocks a pretty casual slouch, complete with a nice robe and slippers, when he has Rey before him in his throne room. Sharp-eyed fans immediately noticed it bore a striking similarity to how [[Magazine/{{Playboy}} Hugh Hefner]] sat, which actor ''Creator/AndySerkis'' later [[https://www.cinemablend.com/news/1737439/andy-serkis-confirms-snoke-is-based-on-hugh-hefner confirmed was intentional]].
