*In Literature/TheSilentWar the immortal Redcloaks never show any sign of ageing past 20, except that their hair gradually turns white between 100-150. Serdra is halfway through this process, and says that the elders consider fully white hair a mark of "adulthood".

* TheSlayers: Lina's Giga Slave puts a severe drain on her energy whenever she uses it and thus leaves her red hair a platinum blonde that is so light it's almost silver for a day or so after she casts it. Not to mention that time it glowed golden because .

* In a RealGhostbusters episode, Ray Stantz is accidentally pulled through a ghost portal. He comes out a few seconds later with his ginger hair turned totally white and spiked up, and he's babbling maniacally about poetry and trees and screaming. It's implied he absorbed a great deal amount of magical energy while in the portal, but he quickly calms down and returns to his regular state of mind. By the next episode his hair is back to being red.

PowerDyesYourHair is ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin: a PowerMakeover that applies exclusively to hair. The degree in which this happens can vary; on the one hand, a character may only have their hair change a few shades, especially if their hair's already light to begin with. Other times, a character may go straight from having black hair to blonde or white. Often, this is a good way for a character to maintain a SecretIdentity, as the change isn't permanent. Bonus Points if PowerMakesYourHairGrow. May also result from PaintItBlack, if the power surge isn't a positive thing for the heroes.
