ThisWiki is about {{trope}}s, which are conventions and [[TropesAreTools tools]] in storytelling. But not everything we record are tropes, nor is everything in storytelling tropes. As mentioned below, things that aren't tropes may still be notable enough to get their own pages.

Contrast OmnipresentTropes, MissingSupertrope, {{Paratext}}, Administrivia/NoTropeIsTooCommon.

!Not tropes and not page worthy
These items have no reason to be given their own pages here:
[[index]]
* ComplainingAboutShowsYouDontLike[=/=]CreatorBashing: [[HomePage We are not a wiki for bashing things anyway]], and nothing meaningful or interesting can come from ranting.
* {{Meme|ticMutation}}s: Memes are at best [[AudienceReactions fan reactions]], but usually they are just unfunny, pointless junk that tend to spill over the wiki like cancers. Please leave them to Website/KnowYourMeme.
* Administrivia/PeopleSitOnChairs: Meaningless things that occur incidentally.
* StockPhrases: While we have a StockPhrase index, [[Administrivia/NoNewStockPhrases they are themselves not worth a page]].
* Administrivia/TooRareToTrope: Something very rare most likely is coincidence rather than convention. Ditto for something extremely complex.

!Not worth their own tropes
These items do not have to be split off of already-existing tropes.
* Administrivia/TheSameButMore: Trope X {{exaggerated}} is still Trope X. Ditto for Trope X done well and Trope X done badly, unlike in AudienceReactions.
* TheSameButMoreSpecific: If the additional distinction doesn't make some new meaning, it's not enough to make a SubTrope of a current trope.

!Not tropes, but still notable
These items, while not tropes[[hottip:*: unless they are in-universe examples]], are still interesting facets of storytelling, and worth noting here:
* AudienceReactions: Emotional and subjective reactions of audiences are on the receiving end of storytelling, and often [[IntendedAudienceReaction aimed at]] by creators.
* {{Fan-Speak}}: Definitions of storytelling and fan terminology.
* SugarWiki/GushingAboutShowsYouLike: Unlike {{Complaining}}, it is usually aimed at by creators and thus notable (and less troublesome), but please keep it to SugarWiki.
* {{Trivia}}: These are interesting little facts about stories that don't show up in the story itself.
* UsefulNotes: What you need to know about things in a story, also to debunk common media misconceptions.
