As he goes about his daily routine, the hole grows larger until it encompasses the entire room and he falls in, wandering off into the darkness as a final shot shows the apartment empty with no hole in the floor.

He dons his old Super Hero costume and chases after the mean boyfriend, at one point he's beat up by a gang of goths, but makes it out of it in time to crash through a bar's skylight on top of the mean boyfriend. All while the band themselves are performing in the bar for a bunch of elderly Super Villains.
