* ''Film/CareerOpportunities'': For some reason, the film keeps cutting back to the main character's father as he eats an increasingly bizarre midnight snack over the course of the night, such as dipping a cold chicken leg into peanut butter. This subplot never affects the main plot and ends with the father suffering gas at an all-night diner.

* Former Brazilian TV show "TV Pirata" had one sketch where someone is caught and arrested during a MidnightSnack. The MirandaWarning (which became known in Brazil thanks to shows imported from the US) was altered to "Everything you eat might be used against you in court". At the trial the defendant is offered a pie and asked to swear to eat the half, only the half and nothing but the half. Translating into Portuguese, "half" becomes "metade" and "truth" becomes "verdade".

* ''ComicStrip/{{Blondie}}'': Dagwood is probably the TropeCodifier. He's often shown in the kitchen in his pajamas, collecting ingredients up his arms or assembling Tower-of-Babel-sized sandwiches for midnight consumption. He's even been known to do it in his sleep, but usually his snack-building is done in a state of wide-awake, unadulterated joy.

You'll find that Cece is covertly munching on the local carrots grown around Hateno; it demonstrates how Cece is still secretly fond of the produce of her farming hometown despite her apparent desire to turn the village into more of a fashion center.

* The 1992 board game "Don't Wake Daddy" has the players as kids sneaking through the house for a snack in the middle of the night. Landing on squares that made noise forced the player to press the button on Daddy's alarm clock. If Daddy woke up, your piece went right back to start, representing you being sent back to bed.
