* ''Film/FreaksOfNature'' features a town where humans, zombies and vampires leave at peace with each other until [[OutsideContexVillain aliens]] arrive. Immediately, humans and vampires accuse the other of bringing the aliens to get rid of them and zombies riot because they haven't received their [[BrainFood brains]] yet. This results in a town-wide fight between all three populations, who are then all attacked by the aliens.

** During the Dressrosa arc, the fighting eventually boils down to the Straw Hats and their allies (including the Revolutionaries) who want to take down Doflamingo, the Donquixote Pirates who want their enemies dead, the Marines who want to capture the Straw Hats and Doflamingo's crew and stop the whole mess and the confused citizens who are trying to survive by capturing people on Doflamingo's blacklist.

* Happens in ''VideoGame/TeamFortress2'' during Scream Fortress (Halloween Mode). As usual, you have the RED and BLU teams shredding each other to bits, but then you have Merasmus and the other spooks like MONOCULUS!, the Horseless Headless Horsemann, and the Helltower Skeletons who'll attack both of the teams on sight. It's nothing but frantic free-for-all chaos once the October month sets in.

** As a whole, zig-zagged by Sentinels. By default, they tend to be on the same side as humans, since humanity are the designated "Reclaimers" to their Forerunner creators; it's even implied in ''VideoGame/{{Halo 2}}'' that Sentinels are the reason why a small Marine company was about to push through the Quarantine Zone faster than an entire Covenant army. The exceptions to this tend to occur when a Monitor directly orders them otherwise, like when Guilty Spark tells his Sentinels to kill John-117 after the latter refuses to give up Cortana and the Index.

* ''VideoGame/HaloCombatEvolved'' has Humans vs. Covenant vs. Flood vs. Sentinels, and ''VideoGame/{{Halo 2}}'' has Humans vs. Covenant Loyalists vs. Covenant Separatists vs. Flood vs. Forerunner Sentinels. In ''VideoGame/{{Halo 3}}'', things settle down into a simpler two-way Everybody vs. the Prophet of Truth and his loyalists, with [[spoiler: Gravemind and the Flood taking over as the BigBad guys after Truth is finally killed near the end]] Serves as an inversion [[MindScrew and subversion]] of the FPS case mentioned above, with the [[spoiler: zombies essentially becoming your temporary allies ... and then backstabbing you again, so now you as the player have two enemies, and all alliances have dissolved]]. As [[spoiler: the Arbiter]] says, "We trade one enemy for another."
** In ''VideoGame/{{Halo 4}}'', you can find Covenant Remnant and Prometheans fighting in the first level that they are both in, making it possible for you to mop the floor with whoever's left. [[spoiler:The rest of the game subverts this by having the Remnants and Prometheans unite under the command of Didact]].
** Actually, Sentinels are, by defalt, ALWAYS on the same side as the humans(the reclaimers). That is what they were designed to do: defend the only beings who can activate the halo array and stop the flood. The only time this changes is when a monitor directly orders them otherwise, as was the case with John 117 when he refused to give up Cortana and the index. This also explains how the small company of marines were able to fight through the Quarantine Zone, when all the might of the Covanant could just barely keep up with them. They wouldn't have made it nearly as far as they did if they didn't have an army of sentinels leading them to the index.

* This is basically [[WhatCouldHaveBeen how it looked like]] the [=InVasion=] storyline was going to play out. To sum up: after the WWF (later Wrestling/{{WWE}}) very publicly buying out Wrestling/{{WCW}}, it turns out that [[Wrestling/ShaneMcMahon Shane]] pulled some last-second shenanigans and now "owns" it, and a massive WWF/WCW feud builds up. Suddenly from left field comes Wrestling/PaulHeyman and the {{Wrestling/ECW}} Originals, sick of [[TheUnFavorite playing second fiddle]] to the Big Two, especially since their buy out was ''far'' more low-key and basically ignored while their wrestlers were quietly filed into place. [[TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot But then]], it turned out he was just TheDragon to [[Wrestling/StephanieMcMahon Stephanie]], who was in fact allied with Shane against [[Wrestling/VinceMcMahon Vince]], supposedly set-in-stone contractual alliances [[ShockingSwerve changed almost on a weekly basis]], only a handful of people from either ECW or WCW were saved from becoming jokes, and by the end of it [[FanonDisContinuity most folks would rather just forget it ever happened]].
** It got so bad that when Wrestling/VinceRusso was eventually re-promoted to the position of head writer of the WWE, his first act was supposedly to suggest relaunching the entire debacle again, YEARS after the whole thing was dead and gone. Debate still rages on whether, if true, it was a case of [[ObfuscatingStupidity being so rash as to force them to let him go]] or simply [[TooDumbToLive thinking that doing the exact same thing again would turn out differently]], since obviously [[ViewersAreGoldfish no one would remember how horribly the last one turned out]].
