** The snakelike Yuan-ti are just downright demonic. They are (in some versions) the descendants of humans who crossed their genes with those of snakes, and some of them still look almost exactly like humans and infiltrate human society accordingly.

* All of the characters from Roleplay/RubyQuest are drawn in a very simplistic style (so that Weaver could post images fast enough to keep up with the players) and are told apart via a few animal traits (mostly UnusualEars) that they have. Ruby has rabbit ears (and her "fluffy white butt" is mentioned), Tom has cat ears (and CuteLittleFangs, but that isn't always apparent), Stitches has bear ears, Filbert has squirrel ears, and Bella has mouse ears.

This can overlap with RubberForeheadAliens, depending on the setting; one of the most common (some would argue Cliche overused) ways to invent a fictional race or alien species is to take a non-hominid animal and anthropomorphize it to an extreme, resulting in a virtually human character with a few animal traits, or alternatively, an animal head on a human frame, complete with other human features like a pair of NonMammalMammaries. This is often Hand Waved as an "alternate evolutionary path".

* The Pooka from VideoGame/OdinSphere, who get that way due to being cursed.

* Q-Bee in Vampire Saviour (the third entry in the VideoGame/Darkstalkers franchise) is a bee-woman.

* Q-Bee in Vampire Saviour (the third entry in the VideoGame/Darkstalkers franchise) is a bee-woman. Note that she's actually a lot more inhuman than she appears at a glance; the large pretty eyes set in her face are useless fakes used as a distraction and her actual eyes are the large compound clusters on top of her head next to her antennae (which is why her stance has her head hanging down "looking" at the ground, with the top of her head pointing towards her opponent). Oh and she also eats human souls.

* Crossbreed Priscilla from Dark Souls is half-dragon, half-god. The result is an immensely tall (like 20-25 feet) WhiteHairedPrettyGirl either draped in a long white furry robe, or covered with long white fur, with a long fur-covered tail poking out the back and a small pattern of white scales or horns just above her eyes. She's surprisingly sweet-tempered (the only boss in the game you have to attack before she'll try to hurt you), but if you do challenge her then she'll use her SinisterScythe to show you why she was sealed away by the gods.

* Most of the characters in Nekopara are CatGirl catgirls. They look mostly human, aside from the ears and tails, but they're much closer to normal felines. They come in the same breeds, have similar lifespans, and experience heat cycles. They also seem to be a OneGenderRace. While catgirls can't breed with humans, some of them do form romantic relationships.

* HeartCore has the Beastman species, a mortal people who lives in the realm of Nifleheim under constant fear of attacks from the demons of Asgard. you can tell them apart from their tails, ears and fangs, depending on the animal that they represent. They posses some strength, speed and lifespan above humans, but wile humans have evolved to a middleground between the present and the future in this setting, the beastment are still stuck in the middle/dark ages.

* Sveta from GoldenSunDarkDawn. Most beastfolk can be identified immediately as cats, dogs, pigs, squirrels, wolves, etc., but Sveta is just... furry. She's actually pretty human-looking compared to other beastfolk. Tyrell calls her a "kitty-dog" at first sight, and her beast form is generally wolfish. It's possible that she's meant to be at least part deer, though, since she's nicknamed "The White Deer".
